The detergent really works on my clothes, I used to buy it all the time, but it was removed from the shelves from my stores near me . It makes your whites ,white , your clothes smell great. I love it.

I’ve been using Cheer for what feels like forever—over 30 years now. Back when it was first available as a powder detergent, it was already ahead of its time, designed to work in all water temperatures. Eventually, Cheer released a liquid version, which I switched to after the powder became difficult to find. What Cheer excels at—and what keeps me coming back—is its ability to preserve the color and integrity of clothes. Reds, blues, blacks, and yellows all stay vibrant wash after wash. It even seems to help reduce pilling. I have shirts and sweaters from Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, and Lacoste that have been through countless washes and still look great over 10 years after I bought them. Cheer is the only detergent I’ve found that consistently keeps colors from fading. I’ve tried Tide several times, and while it’s great at stain removal, it doesn’t offer the same level of color protection. Cheer strikes a great balance—it cleans well and protects your clothes. And honestly, that’s what most of us really want from a detergent. Amazon keeps prompting me to mention the scent, so here it is: It’s a light, clean, fresh scent. It did change around 2020, but it’s still subtle and pleasant—not overpowering. Bottom line: You can’t go wrong with Cheer if you want your clothes to last and look good over time. Just be aware that for tough stains, you may need to pre-treat. Otherwise, this detergent does a fantastic job.

Honestly I really miss the original powdered version of Cheer. The powder version was the best for well water, hard water, high mineral water, and you didn't need to use any laundry booster. Can we please get the original powdered version back ? Thank you. Quality wise liquid Cheer is good. It gently removes stains and dirt without causing your clothes to fade. You don't get those obnoxious lint pills on your clothes which saves time. I like this detergent in cold water. I like how Cheer rinses out of the fibers leaving your clothes soft, clean, and the scent is fresh not overpowering. Just don't use too much or it will build up in the fibers of your clothes. It is good in your new HE type or old wringer type washing machine. I take away a star because I want the original powdered version back. This liquid is easy to use but so was the powdered version.

I like it because it cleans but does not bleach out colors.

This is my favorite detergent.I can't find it in my grocery store. So of course I tried Amazon.As usual Amazon came through for me.If you've never tried Cheer try it you'll love using it. It smells so good and it cleans your clothes completely I've never been sorry I bought it and I know you won't be either.
