This biotene oral balance gel moisturizer is very useful product for dry mouth .I am using this outstanding product throughout the year .Worth buying, special product to moisturizer dry mouth .Almost like real mouth saliva .

Expensive with no results

This stuff is wonderful! I have struggled with extreme dry mouth for several years now due to some medication side-effects, as well as a medical condition that also requires me to use those meds. It also often causes me to sleep with my mouth open. So I literally couldn't go anywhere without a bottle of water. If, say, I went out for a 30 minute walk and someone stopped me to chat, my mouth would get so intensely dry that it felt like my tongue was going to adhere to the roof of my mouth. So embarrassing! I wouldn't have braved going to the grocery store without my water. Anywhere, really. The GYM?! Forget it. My 20oz water was gone half way through class. It's not normal! It was impacting my life. AND, overflowing into excessive, extreme, chronic, painful dry cracked lips. But that review is coming, for a completely different product. I think I have a system now though, that starts with this Biotene hydrating gel! (All my doctor said was suck on candy! Ugh, no thank you! I knew there had to be a better answer!) I've been tested for Sjorgens twice. I don't have that. It's just complications of the medical condition and the meds I take. So when Dr. Google recommended this product, along with specific types of lip remedies to look for, and more so what NOT to use, or do, which was kind of everything I was doing, I ordered it all. For the dry mouth though, the Biotene moisturizing gel, I used it a little while before going to a workout class. Big test of the product. While I did of course need to stop for sips of water, it wasn't like it usually is. I didn't have to chug it, only to have it not even really help my dry mouth but maybe for a couple of minutes. I didn't need to drink as much. I didn't have dry mouth! I could speak to people after class without having to grab a sip of water mid conversation so my mouth didn't close up! For me this was Amazing!! Next I went to the grocery store. I didn't bring my water in. I didn't need it! This stuff is magic! Went to a gathering at our neighbors' house. I had put a large pea size of the Biotene gel in my mouth as directed about 30 minutes before we went. Lots of people, lots of talking, even drank wine and ate some salty snacks. It held up the entire 4 hours! I couldn't believe it! The lip balm I used helped the outer, visible part of dry mouth too. It's incredible! No pain when I laughed or smiled because my lips were cracking; no burning with every sip of wine, or bite of salty snacks. no weird white goop at the corners of my mouth because of dry saliva. All this time I have suffered with these things, and this product has been quietly sitting out there, waiting for me to discover it! I can't recommend this enough if you have dry mouth affecting your daily life like I do! I'm really sick of the phrase 'game changer', but this, indeed IS one! Maybe even a life changer! (For the lips I use both Dr. Dan's Cortibalm, and O'Keefe's Lip Repair. Also switched to a flavor free toothpaste called Cleure, so no more burning lips when I brush!) If you're struggling with this problem like me, don't hesitate to try this Biotene gel! (I also ordered their little tablets to use at night but they haven't arrived yet. I have no doubt they will be a huge part of my routine though)
