Works beautifully, as described. Very easy now to see my trail cam pictures on my phone. For my Samsung Galaxy S6 I did not even need to download any other apps. You can use the native File Manager on the device.

The first program recommend to download from playstore didn't work. But in trouble shooting section the second app. The recommended worked. Using Moto 4 play

DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT VERY HARD to Find the APP for this product. LEAP OUTDOORS TRAIL CAMERA VIEWER. I email the company Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera SD Card Viewer and got a response by he owner of this product. He said to go to the play store for android and lookup File manager - File transfer. And that all you have to do. So I did and installed it to my Samsung phone. I then went into the woods to check on my trail camera's over my mineral site. I got to the trail camera that I have set up for still photo's and put the card into the Leaps Outdoors Trail Viewer then plugged the viewer into my Samsung phone . Then went into the APP For the Leap Out Doors Trail Camera SD Card Viewer- File Manager and expected to view photo's but nothing appeared . So I was fumbling around with the APP and I couldn't get anything to appear in the viewer. I decider to swap the SD Card out with a fresh one and view this one at home on my laptop. Then I got to my Trail Camera that is set up for Video and decided not to fumble around with this SD Card and to just swap it out with a fresh one. So when I get home I put in the still SD Card that I couldn't View in the field into the Laptop and it showed EMPTY FILE I thought maybe I didn't set up the trail camera correctly last month, and that's the reason why I couldn't view any photos in the field because the camera didn't take any. I got the SD Card of video's for the month and put it into my laptop and I collected and viewed on my laptop 120 video's of Dear, Bear, Fox, raccoon, Coyote, turkey, you name it if it was out there I got it on video. I though what a rookie mistake not to set up the still Trail Camera correctly. But I have great video. I decided to go to the computer and electronic store the next day to learn how to use the Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera Viewer for SD Cards. So I spoke to a customer service rep. He got my device the Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera Viewer and plugged it into my Samsung phone and tried to view the still photos the screen still showed Empty File. I showed Him the email from the company with the correct APP in the play store ( File Manager File Transfer ) and he installed the correct APP on to my phone for the Leap Outdoors Trail Camera SD Card Viewer. So I told him I have another SD Card that I viewed last night and I know for sure I have 120 video's on it.... With the correct APP installed on my Samsung phone what could go wrong. So we proceeded to insert the SD Card of Video's into the Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera Viewer WITH The Correct APP. And what the HELL..... It came up Empty File. NOW I Know my Video SD Card with 120 Files on it Was alive and Kicking the night before. OH I should of down loaded them on to the laptop last night. The Young fella thought the Leaps Outdoors Trail SD Card Reader was defective. So We went on to the floor and I purchased another Trail Camera SD card reader of another brand. We connected it to my Samsung phone with the correct APP With hope against hope tried it again and surer than S&#T File Is was Empty. Last month I collected 90 Video's and over 1400 Still photo's. over my mineral site Dear, Bear, Fox, coyote, raccoon, It was like the freakin Bronx Zoo viewed and downloaded them all on my laptop. For the next month I decided to purchase The Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera SD Card viewer for conveyance in the woods. The bottom line The Leaps Outdoors Trail Camera SD Card viewer with the wrong APP can and will wipe out all your photos and video's . The new product I purchased just plug into my phone and I select Photo's OR Video's I want to view . Be careful of this Product If I can give this junk 0 stars I would.

This is very handy however, there is a significant issue. You cannot scroll through individual pictures like a normal picture gallery in an Android phone. You must select a picture, view it, then return to the gallery and select the next picture. You can't swipe the screen and go through multiple pictures. I have a Motorola Moto Z2 Play. I don't recommend this product.

The product is fine, other than the tip included to change from the micro USB end to the USB-C end did not work. I had another tip and was able to use it, and then the product worked fine. However, that tip was an important part of the product, and if I hadn't had another one, I would have had to get one or return it.

Easier than having a camera in the woods with you.. Used it the other day in the woods to check my trailcam pics. Worked no problem..

Good product to use during hunting season to look at all the images from your trail cam. You do have to download an app, but makes it easy to scroll through all images and to instantly delete images you don't want. I also like that you can still use it if you have an otterbox case on your phone. I have an android phone.

Leap Outdoors Trail Camera Viewer is awesome. Its super easy to use and easy to carry with you. Definitely the best gift to get on a budget for a hunter.
