Strongest MagSafe accessory yet
I really enjoy the wallet. Even with the case on my phone this thing a solid. It doesn’t want to come off or anything. I really love it. The only thing I don’t like is that you can hold up to a maximum of four cards on the right side. On the left side, there’s a small rubber binder that is to hold a smaller item which I’m guessing it’s for cash. I wish they would’ve made that side to hold cards as well. Then it would’ve been a 10 out of 10. But you’re limited with that left side because only the right side will hold cards. I’ve had this in my cart since October and it finally went down in price so I picked it up and I’m glad I did. If I would’ve known it as good as it is I would’ve paid full price for it back in October. Now they do have another colors so that’s probably why the black went on sale. I would go for it I really like it and like I said it sticks beautifully even with a case on my phone. A lot of people said it was too big and stuck too far out. I think since the camera sticks out on the iPhone 14 anyways this doesn’t make a difference. It’s no thicker than any battery pack. You would stick to the back of your phone. I think it’s just perfect. they hit it out of the park with this one.2/27/23 update:Just wanted to let you all know that this wallet is still working strong. I have a few tiny scratches, but you have to look for them. Other than that I still love. The magnet works amazing on the back of my phone with the case. And just so you know, I do have a MagSafe case in case you were thinking, I just had a regular case on it, and I was using magnets in the phone. I found that it sticks very well to the phone without a case, but it swivels from side to side is a little bit without my case on. I think the case creates friction, and it doesn’t allow it to slide as easily on the back of a smooth phone.Like I’ve said in my first post, it will hold three cards and up to five bills folded properly to fit behind the binder opposite card side. With this amount inside, you can feel the pressure on the clip that secures it shut. With or without extra items inside does not affect how well it’s secures magnetically.I have still read people complaining that it’s too big and too fat to carry on the back of their phone. I completely disagree still and use it every day and I constantly get compliments on it and asking where I got it and what it is. The reason I say this is because as far as the cameras protrude on the back or the newer phones the wall it almost lines up evenly just enough to keep the camera from making contact with the counter when the phone is laid face up. I actually enjoy holding the phone more with the wallet on the back cause I get a better grip. I don’t think it makes any difference as far as weight is concerned of the phone. Just makes it easier for me to hold it makes the phone more ergonomic with it on. I still highly recommend the case. I did wait till it was on sale but if you really want one, I would just buy it it’s about seven dollars cheaper on sale. But like I said before if I would’ve known how much I enjoy it I would’ve paid full price for it instead of waiting for the sale.Good luck. I hope you enjoy it if you do decide to buy one. I just know that I have a good return policy. If you don’t like it I got 30 days to try it. Once you put it on your phone though you will know right away. Or try it out around the house and see if you like it and if you don’t return it. Well, I still love mine and highly recommend it and I am going to buy another color when I find them on sale again. but since I have one already, I’m just gonna wait. Good luck.Jim

Best way to carry cards at a medieval faire...
Overall, when combined with a decent iPhone case that has magnetic reinforcement, this is a useful way to carry around three cards around. Come time to do the renaissance faire, I pull my faire ID, license, and a credit card, toss them into this case, put my wallet in a secure location, and use that. When done, I pop out the cards, put the little Pelican case on a metal surface with a piece of paper between the case and the metal, call it done.A few caveats. When the case is not in use, I stick it on a metal surface. The magnets are powerful, and can pull out. I had to replace the case when this happened... but this was something that didn't happen until year three of ownership. Adding a folded card ensured enough distance to allow the magnets to do their work without this happening. The latch works well, although I do wish it were slightly more sturdy. It positively clicks open and closes, and has kept things secured for years. At most it holds three cards, and the other side can hold a couple bills, folded up. For a lot of things like a weekend at a festival, this can be good enough, especially if one is mainly using a credit card to pay for things. It will not really hold something like a spare key unless it is really thin, and even then, it may fall out when the case is opened.Definitely would buy again, and I have. It provides a useful niche, where I keep my phone in a hidden pocket, and allows me to have my cards with me. It is also useful for storing cards in an out of the way place (like the back of a file cabinet), if one wants to move a credit card out of their wallet, but still have it available, yet out of sight.

Excellent daily carry wallet
Having recently become disabled, I needed something to keep the necessary items with me without carrying a bulky wallet. This immediately fit the bill. I recognized the Pelican name from spending my first career as a paramedic. They produced many of the compartment boxes we use and were known for durability. This product does not disappoint.Out of the box, it feels solid. There is a snap closure that keeps the wallet shut that has a satisfying “snap” when you lock it. When you open it, the clamshell has two compartments. The one on the left will hold loose bills or papers, while the right side holds your cards. I have found the limit to be four cards of standard thickness. This allows me to carry my identification, debit card, fuel discount card, and health insurance card with me at all times. Other cards I may need on occasion I keep in a separate area and will add/remove as I need to.The magnet on the case is reasonably strong. I have my iPhone 14 in a slim MagSafe case, and the Pelican wallet holds well. I do wish that the magnet was just a little bit stronger, however, as the wallet will still slide around with just a slight amount of force. Any break with the magnet will cause the wallet to fall off. Fortunately, this hasn’t happened, and I don’t expect it will with normal wear, but it is something to be conscious of when using this product. Finally, and this is a small point, but meaningful to many people: the lack of colors. The only one you can get is the one listed: black. With most everyone having multiple color phones and colorful cases, a solid black wallet almost stands out as an eyesore. Having a handful of colors available would not be a bad idea. However, functionality overruled the need for color to me.This is a great product from a great company. Well worth a try to keep your items secure!
