How many plastic hanger fit on here?

I have a lot on mine and it is not even full yet.

Does it work for normal plastic hangers or just the wood ones shown in the picture?

It works for normal plastic hangers as well as the wire ones from dry cleaners. Good product.

How nany plastic hangers do it hold?

Probably 20, I use flat felt hangers and it will hold approximately 30-35 of that type easily.
