Hands down this has been my best purchase and I really should have gotten this sooner. I finally got this when my little one turned 19 months and showed tremendous skill for climbing her crib. We initially put towels around the rails to raise the height but that bought us about 2 weeks of time before she figured out how to climb her new obstacles. My husband and I spent a week of alternating nights of who would be in the room with her as she claimed the rails, sat on them, and then seemed to threaten to throw herself off unless someone took her out of the crib. We both felt she was too young to be in her room in a toddler bed at night, especially because she is skilled at opening all doors in our home (e.g. front door, bathroom doors, other bedroom doors, etc.). When we found this on amazon we ordered it on rush and so glad we did! It was our last resort after everything else we tried. The reviews are right, you will lose the ability to see anything on your monitor which is a downfall. Also there is a warning on the packaging that the item is not for homes with cats (I imagine this would be a scratching dream for a cat). The crib mattress goes into the tent structure so the tent is fully encompassing. Some benefits of this is our daughter would often have her pacifier fall out of the crib through the slats and then cry at night because she couldn't find it. This is no longer an issue! It is physically impossible to throw the pacifier out or for it to fall out a side. I wish I had bought this sooner as for infants that like to use the crib rails as teething posts this could have helped prevent that issue and crib damage. This item has worked like a charm - our daughter is safe, there's no more climbing, I also like that come summer time I don't have to worry about any mosquitoes getting into her crib. For mosquito prone places I would highlight recommend this product! If anyone has a small climber who is not yet ready for a toddler bed, this is a must!

It’s great product. my baby is 18 months. And recently he started to crawl out of his crib. Before we found this product, my husband put his mattress on the floor and locked his door. He refused to sleep and tried to knock the door and scream and cry. It broke my heart. Finally,it was shipped and it worked. Baby stopped crawling out of his crib and slept nicely. I’m buying another one to put it in my mom’s house.

Honestly, the best investment. My 2 year old no longer can climb out of his bed which has created a better bedtime routine and good nights sleep for everyone in the house. He sleeps comfortably through the night. It’s safe and no building is required as it literally pops right up out of the bag and you insert it into the bed. Amazing, couldn’t be happier! Wish I had purchased this much sooner.

We have a very loving cat... but we'd rather he doesn't climb in with the baby for a cuddle. The high arch (rather than a flat net) is definitely unsuitable for the mog to climb or gain access - and kitty spent a good twenty minutes trying (and failing) to get in. We have a cot bed (Ikea Sundvik), while being 10cm larger than the specified and recommend measurements, the net does stretch if handled gently and slowly. You don't get any instructions in the package, and at first we we're going about it all wrong. The whole contraption goes into the cot and the mattress then holds it in place (you slip the bottom of it onto the mattress, a bit like a fitted sheet). Initially the mattress might bend upwards a tad, but after a few minutes it will straighten itself out. There are sturdy ties at all four corners for securing it to the rails of the cot. The ruffles are made of a satin type fabric, and match the base of the net and act as a cot bumper. I am pretty sure it will never go back into the neat zip cover that it was packaged in, once the elastic strap holding it together is off, it pops open. However, that's not a problem unless you intend to use it for travel (which we don't).
