Great little sunshade
Easy to put up on a sandy beach. Gives good shade and very light weight to take with you.

Surprisingly good
We took a chance on this product as my wife needs some shade on a beach. It works really well in calm conditions, but struggles if there are anything more than light winds. Saying that, it's easy enough to put back into place if it's just the occasional gust that displaces the cover. It's super quick and easy to out up and put away.

Love this sun shade! Perfect for a day at the beach
I chose the Otentik nano sun shade because I was able to experience using it first hand from friends on a beach vacation. Loved it then and decided to buyer one for myself. This is lightweight and easy to carry over your shoulder. Set up is easy although there are a few tricks that I have found that can make or break your experience with it. User Tips: 1. Always pull the bags in an x shape and have them pulled fairly tight (you don't want these loose) 2. When filling the bags with sand, don't be chintzy, fill those bags up fully, overstuff them 3. MOST IMPORTANT: Once the bags are filled, bury them in a hole in the sand. This goes a long way in creating that extra stability, especially on windy days. 4. When inserting the poles, lift slowly so the fabric stretches and you don't pop the bags out of the holes you worked so hard to bury them in. 5. If you deal with a lot of wind pretty regularly, you may want to consider purchasing extra heavy duty poles. On windy days I set the shade up with four heavy duty poles (one on each corner) and its much more stable. While you can set this up alone, it works much better with another set of hands, especially when inserting the poles and lifting the tent.

Easy to carry
This sunshade is very small when folded, and it is easy to carry outdoors. It has 4 folding brackets, and each corner has gravity traction so that it will not be blown away by the wind. It is easy to assemble and easy to use. It is very suitable for sun and rain during outdoor vacations.Just the bracket is a bit thin.

UPF 50+ material used
The product arrives in a sturdy cardboard box. Inside is a pull cord storage bag containing the sunshade, the empty material sandbags, four collapsible poles and a small instructions card. The storage bag is made of a very soft and yet stretchy material which has many holes throughout it and the pull cord is made with fairly thick cord. The whole thing is very lightweight & compact. This makes it relatively easy to pack the sunshade in luggage for a holiday, to travel with, and carry around during a day out.The material feels super soft and a little bit silky. There is some stretch to the material. A good thing when there is some wind and when setting up.Be very careful with the collapsible poles. When undoing their segments they each automatically want to join and snap together to form the extended pole. Just watch your eyes as well as your fingers & thumbs and where you hold a segment, so not to have any potential health and safety issues. On one end of each of the four poles is a small quite firm foam ball stopper. You will need sand to fill the sandbags with. A bit problematic if you end up at a pebble beach! Although pebbles would probably do the job, the issue would be making the poles stable.Due to wet weather, not having any sand available and sandy beaches being far away from my home; I have only unpacked and inspected each element which comes as part of this product. I think the quality seems very good and it is all quite well thought out. Apart from the instruction card which I think should have been made larger and possibly laminated and attached to the bag or the actual sunshade material.Initially I was surprised at the cost of this product but after looking at other similar ones, I can see it does actually appear to be priced at about the going rate for one of these. Although it seems expensive for what is actually provided, the price is acceptable. I did consider whether a DIY would be much cheaper but collapsible poles actually cost quite a bit and I doubt there would be much of a saving, if any, by the time the UPF 50+ material is sourced and purchased. Plus there is the time cost for sourcing parts and also needed for sewing. Therefore I think this is great value for money. Albeit be aware it is a smaller size (it costs less) than other ones available for sale. Consider your size requirements before purchasing and how much space you want it to take up on a beach. As beaches can be secluded or at the other end of the scale, they can get extremely busy.

A great sunshade. Makes good use of SAND. Really PLEASANT materials.
I like this sunshade although all but children will need to crawl on all fours to get under it. The poles have a soft ball on the end to protect the fabric. These balls are quite generous (see pic). The length of the poles when assembled is about 148cm. This limits the height of the highest points in the canopy. Obviously the poles will not give this full effective height unless your on concrete as the poles do necessarily sink into the sand.I like the way this sunshade makes use of the sand rather than unpleasant steel pegs. Have you ever looked for a steel peg lost in the sand? Steel pegs I’ve found soon become unpleasantly rusty when they’ve been in damp salty sand. No pegs means it won’t be an unpleasant thing the next time you use it.My biggest surprise was just how soft and pleasant and stretchy the materials of the canopy and the stuff sack are. Very pleasant next to the skin. Carrying things back to the car even without sunburn I appreciate comfort. Even the drawstring of the stuff sack is of a generous thickness and nicely tactile. Lovely.

Very good
every lover of the sun, the sea and nature knows that our simple human body has its limitations, that light leads to resorting to artificial aids to withstand mother nature's punishment. a very effective way to enjoy the sea and its beauty up close is to use a shadow to reduce the sun's punishment directly on our skin. This Otentik Nano Plus Sunshade for Beach With 4 Poles will be your best friend when it comes to sun protection on the desert, on beach or simply in your garden, as long as you are not planning a permanent or long-lasting installation. This Otentik Nano Plus Sunshade for Beach With 4 Poles is very small and light when packed, making it ideal for training light. The cloth used to protect us from the sun has a bag at its ends that must be filled with something heavy so that the Shelter can be lifted, sand is one of the things that can be used as a weight.

Great for a day at the beach
Great super transportable shade for the beach. I love that everything goes into a small bag that you can easily carry from point A to point B.PROS--Shade and Poles fit into a small light-weight bag that's super easy to transport-There are sandbags already attached to the shade that you can easily fill with sand to keep your sunshade from flying away.-It comes with both the poles and the sunshade-Not too large so you have an adequate amount of room for a couple of people and your belongingsMy only CON would be that the poles do seem a bit flimsy but they're also very flexible. I haven't used the shade on a windy day but this might work in your advantage as the poles may bend and not actually break during a windy day.

Ross are way too thin to the tent
I am returning this itemMy family has the bigger tent and I expected the same stability with the smaller oneThe rods of this one are thin and don’t stand upThey bend to the wind

Great Canopy
This is a fabulous canopy! First off is the size! This thing is so small! It's probably about the same size as a Pringles can. So it is super easy to transport anywhere! The second thing is the ease of assembly! Just watch the sellers video to learn how it is erected. I used the same procedure with mine and it could not have been easier! Honestly, there really isn't anything to not love about this product!

flimsy poles, stretchy heavy fabric catches the wind
This canopy didn’t stand up long enough to take a photo. The bags slid around so tacked them down with heavy duty tent stakes. Didn’t help. Still fell over. It was breezy, but it is almost always breezy so if it doesn’t stand up to a breeze it isn’t useful to me. The poles bend with the weight of the fabric without a breeze. Very disappointed with this product. At a price of nearly $90 this is a very poor choice for sun canopy
