I waited for several months before reviewing this shredder. It is very impressive. As noted in the description, it shreds things into very small pieces which can't be reconstructed which is great. The size is just right....not to large and easy to keep near my chair. The paper is shredded into such small pieces that it fits a lot of material into the waste bin. I had a bad experience with my previous shredder: As one would expect, ocassionally a metalic object is mixed with the shredded paper and jams the mechanism. For most shredders, this is a problem as you have to disassemble the shredder input to relieve the jam. This can't be done with most shredders. However, the top of the Aurora shredder gives access so you can remove metailic jams. Also, it is very convenient that you can insert a large wad of paper in the top feeder and let the shredder do it's thing...Very cool. I am really very impressed with this device. It was well designed and thought out. I didn't rate the customer service cause I didn't have to use them....All is good.

It’s compact, the lid lifts off to empty, it easily does 8-10 sheets, does credit cards and can continuously run for over an hour. Love the confetti shred for privacy. Worth the money I paid. I shred 4 - 30 gallon bags worth of shredded documents over the span of 4 days and it worked like champ!

I just received it and product tested it today on all types of items; Credit cards, unopened stuffed mail and even a bubble padded small bag !! No problem at all. It is very quiet and quick. Did not overheat. Compact.But.. if you are a Senior (75) like me, be very careful when you lift the motor by the handle, I found it heavy.My nephew is 50 yrs old and he had no problem lifting it. Other then that, I highly recommend this Aurora AU1010MA High-Security 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper Shredder.

If you ever need to shred a significant amount of documents at home, it's hard to beat a shredder like this with a document feeder, so you can feed in a big pile of pages and walk away. Yes, it will take a while, but you don't have to baby-sit it and keep feeding it small bundles by hand.The micro-shredding means you never have to worry about how documents are oriented--you're pretty much guaranteed no information in a document will be coherent once the shredder is done. As a bonus, the paper shreds are so small that you can go for a long time without emptying the bin.The only down-side for me is, although the shredder itself is capable of dealing with staples and a fair number of pages at once using the hand-feed slot, the document feeder feeds one-sheet-at-a-time with no stapled pages allowed, so it may take a little prep before you can leave the machine by itself to shred large, multi-page documents. At least you have the option...

I had a larger shredder previously but it broke when I tried to shred a "thicker" credit card in the credit card slot. This was a replacement and I opted for a smaller shredder due to my need for it decreasing since I am now semi-retired. I am pleased with my selection. It is working perfectly.

With a capacity of over 200 pages, this drawer can handle larger volumes of shredding. It operates quietly and shreds the documents into small pieces, allowing you to carry on with your work uninterrupted. I personally use it for my business needs after having to let go of our shredding company, which used to charge $290 per month for a single monthly visit. Since purchasing two of these machines, I have been able to consistently get the job done in a safe and easy manner.

This shredder is quiet, handles as many as 8 pages at a time, cross cuts into tiny bits, including credit cards, and has a window in the basket so you can see when it needs to be emptied. The lift off head, although ergonomic, is a bit heavy and cumbersome, but not enough to detract from a 5-star rating at least from me. Excellent buy.

This shredder has a powerful little motor that so far has eaten through anything I have put through it. It is fairly quiet when running without anything being shredded.The motor is much more heavy duty than our last shredder which lasted us some 10+ years. Hopefully this one will be just as great. So far, it is off to a good start.

Owned an Infoguard shredder since 2016 and it just quit Feb 8, 24. We’ve shredded thousands of papers with it. You could hear it two houses over. This new one is way quieter, smaller size and shreds into smaller pieces. I’ve shredded the same things with this one…CD’s, paper with staples, credit cards and thin cardboard with no issues whatsoever. This is definitely a winner.

Heavy top. Did not work at all. Had to return it. Poor design.

El cabezal es un poco pesado; sin embargo, cumple con su trabajo al 100%, hemos puesto varias hojas sin exceder el límite permitido durante cierto tiempo y lo ha hecho bastante bien, también se ha utilizado para triturar tarjetas de crédito y todo perfecto. El hecho de hacerlo en cuadros en vez de tiras da mayor seguridad de privacidad. Considero que es una buena compra y opción respecto a otras más caras que hay en el mercado, la recomiendo completamente.
