Long and heat resistant good for Grilling, or even for the oven. They are stiff, not so flexible or soft, but I feel very protected from the heat. Good quality.

Read other reviews saying they're to thick and can't use. I've used them for about a week and they're breaking in nicely. Super thick and great for handling 450 degrees out the oven. I like them and bought a second set for Xmas present.They'll need breaking in before they get more user friendly but work fine for the oven and handling hunks of meat. Can't do precision work with them They're not surgical gloves

What can I say, I'm just clumsy I guess.. I repeatedly burn my arms just below my elbows when I reach into the oven, even when wearing "long" mitts. After my last battle scar took weeks to heal, I'd had enough. I researched an infinite number of supposed Long oven mitts that were still too short, even resorting to browsing leather grilling gloves, heavy duty welding gloves & leather pruning gloves. If they weren't too short, they were too bulky to easily take on and off when baking. THESE GLOVES ARE THE GREATEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD! Super soft cloth lining, heat resistant silicone that's very flexible to take on & off, and YES, they even COVER MY ELBOW!! Now, I'm a 5"² chick, so they might not cover your elbow if you're taller, but I guarantee they'll come close! I've been telling everyone I know that these are replacing all of my mitts, they're the only pair you'll ever need. I am crazy in love with my oven gloves!

These gloves work well for stuff I smoke and that’s why I bought them. My only complaint is that there are ridges on them (I’m assuming for grip) that are kind of a pain to clean but not a deal breaker as I’ve never dropped a piece of meat but don’t thing I would if they were smooth or maybe just ridges on thumbs or thumbs and index fingers. Still happy with purchase

I needed protection for when I am making hard candy. For it is truly like working with hot lava. After seriously burning myself with severe burns I bought these. It is very hard to find gloves for small hands for I had ordered 2 different products before I found these. These are a great fit and provide protection going up to my elbows. If you are on the fence on which ones to buy, seriously consider ordering these! By far superior over the others that I had to return because they were I’ll fitting. For candy making you absolutely need gloves that fit and these do! They are flexible enough that they are a breeze to use and grip very well.

These gloves are great protection from burning yourself while handling hot meat on the grill, I used them to take off large pieces of meat from the fire and did not feel the heat, Worked Great.I also used it under boiling water and it was waterproof and did not feel the heat, Even thou after holding a while on the fire i did feel some warmth but it was not such heat to get burned at all.Above all its simple and easy to clean, it makes grilling and cooking a pleasure

They are a bit bulky but they protect my forearms which is where I normally burn myself. Love them

The gloves are okay but need to be a bit more protective.... easy to clean but the piping around the opening is not stitched well. They are comfortable but sized a bit large for XL and I have big hands.
