As described. After ordering it we realized it did not fit our door so I had to return it.

Purchased to add to security for an exterior deep set door in my barn. They're 5" wide, so easily allow for use on a deep set door in a frame. Made of aluminum, so look nice, but in my opinion very overpriced and they do not come with mounting screws (knew that). I knowingly paid the premium price because they accommodate a deeply set door. On a shallow door you could use a 4x4" brace if you wanted. I use a 2 x 6" in my application and works great. For the price, they should include mounting screws or lags.

Works great ,heavy duty. I like them.

The brackets are very light weight almost to the point where I worry if they will fail when needed most.
