Very tight, hard to open door using outside handle
This door lock actuator looks to be of good quality, however upon installing it it's very difficult to open the door from the outside. The handle is very tight. I ended up returning it and buying a nissan door lock actuator and it's normal as it was before and overall much happier. I suggest sticking to a factory actuator.

Installed and works as is supposed to. Take care if not experienced with door assemblies.

Latch failed the day after return window closed
I couldn’t open my door from outside or inside and had to figure out a way to get to the cables to release the latch. After finally getting the door open by removing the door panel with door in closed position I was able to remove the latch mechanism and discovered that the cable gets stuck and does not return so the latch can reset. Do not buy this item!

doesn't work
spent hours trying to get this to work, but would not work with outside handle. broke down and bought OEM part from dealer, bingo fixed in 10 minutes. The price was more but it worked. Could have saved a lot of time and aggravation.

We ordered this product for my husbands Nissan Titan and once in place it locked up and he had no use of his drivers side door.
