We purchased one of these on sale in the hope it would help moderate the severity of pollen season in upstate NY and the dander generated by two large labradors. It has a nice, clean look and small foot print, which we feel is important. The HEPA filter was shipped inside it in a bag that needs to be removed but doing so was incredibly quick and easy to do. Twist the top a quarter turn and place to one side. Lift out the filter, remove the bag, lower the filter back in using the two tabs provided on it for that purpose, lift the lid back on and quarter twist to close. It takes 2 mins. Then its' plug-in, turn on and choose ""Auto" or a fan speed using the touch sensitive panel on top. You can control it from your iphone if you're into that but it certainly isn't necessary. The first thing we noticed is how quiet it is. Effectively soundless in sleep mode and at fan speed 1. Barely noticeable at fan speed 2, unless you're right next to it, noticeable at fan speed 3 when you are in the same room as it but not obnoxious. Noticeably louder at fan speed 4 which should be considered a 'Turbo" mode. Then we noticed the impact of running it - vastly reduced swelling of the eyes and sinuses of those suffering from hay fever and a significant reduction in the doggy smell of our labradors. It works really well. We have taken advantage of the ability to control this by iPhone to set a schedule where it automatically runs in sleep mode (low, continuous fan) from 10pm to 5am. Then at fan speed 2 from 5am to 5:30am, ramping up to fan speed 3 from 5:30am to 8am before switching to auto from 8am to 10pm. Because of the relatively severe allergies suffered by a couple of our family members the P2.5 micron threshold is set to 2 ug per meter cubed and this filter has been able to attain that incredibly low level with that schedule within a few hours of all windows and doors to the outside being closed to the 1800 sq. ft area it services. At this point we have an oasis for our hay fever sufferers to return to each evening and it's made an incredible difference to their comfort. Do they still take Claritin or Allegra during pollen season? Yes, we've found it necessary to deal with the pollen at work and in the garden. Are they doing better than they were before we got this filter? Yes, the continuously swollen and itchy, weeping eyes are gone. The inflamed nasal passages are gone. Their sleep deprivation is gone. Their quality of life has improved dramatically. We had no idea how dramatic an impact adding a quality, appropriately sized HEPA filtration system would have. This unit is rated for something like 3000 sq. ft. We're using to control air quality in a 1800 sq.f.t open plan area and its doing a great job of that without having to run the fan at high speed for prolonged periods of time. We've had this for several weeks now and experienced 1st hand how well it can deal with really terrible air quality when the smoke from the fires in Quebec blew into NY. Opening the door to come into the house with the shopping during the worst of it briefly dropped the air quality from a PM2.5 of 001 to as high as a PM2.5 of 185 within 12 feet of the door. This was then quickly reduced to a PM2.5 of less than 20 in an hour and back to 001 in about 2 hours after the door was closed. The outside airs PM2.5 was apparently North of 300 at this time (sources accuweather and the news), the air was literally a hazy brown like smog and this filter was able to detect it, automatically adjust its fan speed to clear it and maintain perfect air quality in the house. Does it work? Absolutely, quietly and brilliantly. Would we buy this again? Yes, in fact we have so that we can control the air quality for one of our allergy sufferers in another area where they have to spend prolonged periods of time. That one's been in place for about 3 weeks and has done exactly what we hoped it would do - improve the quality of life at work in a 7000 sq.ft. open plan office area. Now this is well beyond the manufacturers claimed coverage for a unit and it looks like they're right based on who's apparently benefiting and who isn't but here's the important point. The benefits to the workforce have been so noticeable to management they're now considering upgrading the offices HVAC system to include HEPA filtration. I think that speaks volumes.

I don't often write reviews but in this case I wanted to as the unit met my expectations.The purifier (Core 600S) comes as advertised. The filter is enclosed in a plastic bag, which must be removed before turning on the unit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow to open the top of the purifier, and replace the filter once the bag has been removed from around it. The unit is very quiet when in "Auto" mode, if you manually adjust the fan speed to max, it becomes noisy, but not unbearably so. I generally only use the max speed if I notice the reading on the screen going high, and then slip it back on auto once things are under control. The unit is app controlled with speed control, scheduling, power and filter life details all available therein. From the moment I purchased this and turned it on, I noticed a drastic improvement in the air quality in my home. My wife and I are both sinus sufferers, and since I've bought this, she no longer walks through the house sneezing during days of high Sahara dust and smoke, and I no longer wake up with watery eyes. The unit is very efficient and works to keep my entire home clean. I have this unit in my living room and doors of adjacent rooms are kept open during the day and the purifier easily manages to keep the air quality in an excellent state throughout all of them. The unit is easy to clean. I wipe the outside with a soft cloth and vacuum the base on the inside to pick up any heavier/larger pieces of dust that accumulates under the filter. I purchased it at the beginning of July, and am now in line for my first filter replacement after about 6 months, and no dip in performance. The filters are a little on the expensive side, but I'm happy with the performance of the purifier and don't mind paying the price to ensure the same quality in my breathing air. I hope this was helpful to someone out there.

I received this Core 600S about three days ago and I can already tell the difference in the air quality. The living room smells fresh and clean. I have a rather large house with four cats and two dogs. So far I have had a decrease in allergy symptoms. The setup was extreme easy, especially with the app. I haven’t had to clean it yet but it seems relatively easy with just a twist of the top and pulling out the filter. The filter quality appears to be of very high quality. I will most likely purchase the filter for animals next time. The unit is rather large, however if you have the space for it in your house, it’s not an eye sore. Overall, this unit is very functional for its purpose.

Ich habe mir den Luftreiniger gekauft, weil ich zu Hause E-Zigarette rauche und nicht ständig lüften möchte - vor allem abends oder im Winter. Nach ein paar Tagen Nutzung kann ich sagen: Genau dafür erfüllt er seinen Zweck sehr gut. Der LEVOIT läuft bei mir fast täglich im Wohnzimmer. Schon nach kurzer Zeit merkt man, dass der Dampf deutlich schneller verschwindet und die Luft frischer wirkt. Gerade auf mittlerer Stufe ist er effektiv, ohne unangenehm laut zu sein. Besuch hat mich sogar schon gefragt, ob ich überhaupt drinnen rauche - das sagt eigentlich alles. Auch Gerüche setzen sich weniger fest als vorher. Ganz ehrlich: Wunder darf man nicht erwarten. Direkt beim Dampfen riecht man es natürlich trotzdem kurz, und wie langlebig Gerät und Filter sind, wird sich erst mit der Zeit zeigen. Der Filterwechsel ist auch kein Schnäppchen, was man einkalkulieren sollte. Bisher macht das Gerät aber einen soliden Eindruck. Empfehlen würde ich ihn vor allem Rauchern, Dampfern und Allergikern, die ihre Raumluft spürbar verbessern wollen, ohne ständig Fenster aufzureißen. Für sehr große, offene Räume oder wenn man absolute Stille erwartet, ist er eher weniger geeignet. Ich bin insgesamt zufrieden - jetzt bleibt nur abzuwarten, wie er sich langfristig schlägt.

Very pleased with my 400 air purifier. The first day of using it our house had lost its locked up winter smell. Watching it automatically increase in speed catching the cooking smells is incredible and it really works. Using it now for a couple of weeks its noticeably helped us with our dust & Spring allergies 👍 Answering some of the negative reviews. Yes the bottom come will come off easily if it hasn’t been LOCKED in place properly and I can hear an electrical hum on auto/ sleep modes at NIGHT, so I leave it on low speed when sleeping. I recommend it and am now looking at buying a smaller one just for our bathroom.

Lo que más destacaría tras probarlo a fondo: 🔹 Capacidad y Cobertura: Lo tengo instalado en el comedor de mi vivienda de 75 metros cuadrados. Me ha sorprendido gratamente su potencia: es capaz de filtrar y renovar el aire de prácticamente toda la casa en pocos minutos sin ningún problema. Para un piso de este tamaño, va sobradísimo. 🔹 Sensibilidad del Sensor: El aparato "te informa" de lo que no ves. En cuanto abro una ventana o entra algo de humo, el sensor detecta que la calidad del aire se degrada y aumenta la potencia automáticamente. Es muy satisfactorio ver cómo limpia el ambiente y elimina olores de forma tan rápida. 🔹 Modo Noche Impecable: Me preocupaba el ruido, pero en el modo noche es prácticamente imperceptible. Se puede dejar funcionando mientras duermes o ves la tele sin que moleste en absoluto, y además permite apagar las luces del panel para que no haya contaminación lumínica. 🔹 App y Control: La conectividad es muy fluida. Poder encenderlo desde el móvil antes de llegar a casa o recibir alertas sobre el estado del filtro y del aire lo hace muy cómodo para el día a día. 🔹 El "Detalle de Realismo": Debes tener en cuenta que, por su potencia, el aparato tiene un tamaño considerable. No es un dispositivo que pase desapercibido en un rincón; necesitas reservarle un espacio despejado para que la entrada y salida de aire sea eficiente. Además, si vives en zona de obras como yo, recomiendo limpiar el pre-filtro exterior con una aspiradora cada dos semanas para que el polvo grueso no lo sature antes de tiempo. Resumen y recomendación: Es una inversión totalmente recomendada para urbanitas que vivan en zonas de mucha polución o construcción. Si tienes un piso de unos 70-80m², este modelo es el equilibrio perfecto entre potencia y silencio.

Après plusieurs années d'utilisation et de recommandations, je fais un retour sur ce purificateur d'air. Celui-ci continue encore aujourd'hui de me donner entière satisfaction. Voici plusieurs points positifs que j'ai relevés : _ De nombreuses fonctionnalités intéressantes et utiles comme la possibilité d'éteindre l'éclairage ou le mode nuit (je confirme qu'il est possible de dormir avec le purificateur d'air en fonctionnement dans la chambre). _ Le capteur de particules fines est un vrai plus ! (dommage qu'il ne soit pas sur tous les modèles de la marque) _ L'application Vesync est simple à utiliser et assez complète. Elle donne accès à plusieurs informations utiles telles que la durée de vie du filtre, la programmation de l'allumage ou de l'extinction, ainsi qu'un graphique de l'historique de la qualité de l'air. Elle permet de surveiller la qualité d'air même lorsque vous n'êtes pas chez vous... Je l'ai testé dans de nombreuses conditions, et il s'est toujours montré très efficace, même dans des pièces avec un grand volume. J'ai également apprécié sa compatibilité avec Home assistant, qui m'a permis d'accéder à des fonctionnalités supplémentaires comme l'envoi de notifications pour m'alerter de la dégradation de la qualité de l'air ou l'activation automatique de l'appareil si elle dépasse une certaine valeur. Les côtés moins appréciables : _ Le filtre est très onéreux (il peut durée plusieurs années ou seulement quelques mois selon la qualité de l'air ambiant). Attention à ne pas l'utiliser pendant que vous cuisinez car cela impactera rapidement la durée de vie du filtre. En résumé je ne regrette pas mon achat (bien au contraire, j'ai même investi dans un autre modèle plus petit) . Lorsqu'il est en marche dans une pièce, on sent réellement une différence, notamment une réduction des odeurs, même dans un environnement déjà sain.
