I started tooling leather and was not sure what size tool was needed to transfer my designs to the leather. This set is perfect for small intricate details to rounding out edging and everything in between. I am very happy with the quality for the price too.

The tools are okay but a two of them were very rough and leave scratch marks in the leather. I sanded and honed them to a smooth finish to get them to my satisfaction. Next time will pay more for higher quality tools.

I use these for leatherworking and after a few months, they're still in one piece and doing what they're supposed to. Can't speak for sculpting with them, tho.

This modeling set is excellent for detailing leather craft and tracing patterns on leather. Comes with several different sized tracing tools and modeling ends to work detailed features. I used them to trace and detail this leather mount. Great set!

The longer, red handled tools, all had rough finishes. When I used them on leather, it was like filing the surface of the leather. I had to refinish them with 600 grit sandpaper.

I love these tools and use them all the time they aren't fancy like the Tandy ones but they do the job just as well for less money.

Tools work very well in leather tooling. Nice assortment. Some handles on my tools slide a bit but nothing that can’t be overcome for the price paid.

Finish was very poor - primarily on the red handled three tool set. It will require an hour or so by machine or several hours by hand to get it to the point of the average leather impressment tools sold by every one else. The wooden handled ball tools only had a couple not so hot ends. (I have about 50+ others so I know whereof I speak.) The webpage illustrations looked better than the tools. I'm reasonably certain that the seller was not the producer, who was prompt with the shipping and it was a very good price. I couldn't recommend the red handled tools to anyone for anything except crude work. All six ends need reworking before ever touching leather.
