I love these needles! I am new to knitting and needed something to start out with. These are affordable, work well and are packaged really nicely. I bought this set for my daughter to learn to knit. She tried to learn on my metal needles and they were too slippery. The acrylic provides more friction with the yarn so she's not afraid of dropping stitches. The molds for the needles are pretty good, but there is a seam that runs the length of the needle that you can feel. The seam doesn't snag on the yarn, but the needles just are not completely smooth and round when you touch them. The bright colors and the cute case all make it more fun for her to keep knitting. The sizes are embossed at the top nub of the needles, so you can easily find the right size. For veteran knitters, this is probably not a good set as the friction is too high and slows you down when you need to push stitches down the needles. I've used metal, bamboo and plastic (Lion Brand) needles and can knit fairly fast with all of them because they are smoother and have less friction than acrylic. It would probably be fine for narrow projects, but gets frustrating for wider projects because of the "sticky" nature of acrylic.

very nice needles, came in a cute roll up bag too. Points are nice I've only used one set, but they work great. I am a beginner and they work for me. Also received a card in the mail from customer service to make sure everything is ok. Thank you!

Being a beginner at knitting, I’m enjoying the knitting needles I have received. As you might expect, I have not yet learned about or had a chance to use all of the many things included but I have the tools when that happens. Thank you for allowing me to review this product. It is excellent and I have and will recommend it.

lower needles are so thin like you can feel it can be snapped by any time. I wish they have made it little bit harder. Its a good product but not gonna solve my purpose. returning it.

These work great but are not US size needles so you will need to know the conversion size in order to use them in a pattern that lists a US size needle.

I bought this set because I am still learning to knit and wanted a more complete set as I explore it. I have two pair of aluminum needles that I prefer but couldn't find a set for a decent price. So i ordered these. Right off the back I notice the smaller needles are really bendy, I feel like I would break them. The larger sizes are bit more sturdy. The needles themselves are also not entirely smooth but I have yet to used them, but I don't think it would be that larger of an issue. I bought this set as more of a starter set for myself, and that's what I would recommend them for. If I turn into a more serious knitter I would eventually switch to an all aluminum set I feel.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is a beginner and enjoys knitting. The needles came in a cute storage package and the price was reasonable.

As someone learning to knit, this is a nice little kit. I like that it comes with a carry case. Great for any beginner, or if you would like something light to travel with. Shipped quickly!

I was a little disappointed that they are similar colours and not as indicated in the picture. They do feel flimsy, however haven’t tried yet.
