Thanks for your interest in our products! The Mary Jane High Heel height measures at approximately 3.5 inches.

Q: I'm a heavy set girl with sensitive feet that tire quickly when I walk. Do these have enough padding to alleviate that problem?

So they don't have extra padding, but they are pretty comfortable to be a heel. I have foot issues and didn't have any problems walking in them all day. You could always get an insert which would help.

Q: Is that a true red or more of a wine color?

It is a bright cherry red/true red.
