Perfect for Larger Dogs Who Love to Be Close
This carrier has worked out perfectly for my son-in-law and their 40 lb dog. We weren’t sure how comfortable or supportive it would be for a larger dog, but it has been surprisingly sturdy and secure. The adjustable straps help get a good fit, and the dog seems very comfortable being carried while still feeling safe and close. It’s great for outings, crowded places, or times when a dog may need a break from walking. Overall, very impressed with the quality and support for a bigger dog.”

"Finally, it happened to me..." Grateful for this Excellent Dog Pack Carrier!
Quoting a song there to be funny. Seriously though: FINALLY ! Like many animals who are not crate-trained from birth, my dog has zero want to be in any type of small transporting enclosure. Unfortunately, she is old now and cannot walk long distances, so I need to be able to move her quickly, further and faster. There are a lot of places she can still enjoy, like the beach, but she just can't do the whole trek anymore from the car across the sand dunes. I have been unable to get her into any kind of carrier. Carrying her without support is getting too heavy and difficult for me. When the answer to all my problems, this PetBonus dog backpack arrived, I was able to easily use it, put it on my dog like a harness, and pick her up like a baby to carry as a front pack. She tried to escape at first, but then quickly became calm and cozy. Her body felt at ease. Moving forward, I know she will love this, for all the places she can now go again. For me, it is so much easier and lighter to carry her with the padded back support. This is so amazing and very well designed and made! I got a size Large for a 19 pound dog that measures 24 inches around the her chest and 20 inches neck base to tail start. It fits her and me perfectly on the tight small setting. You can easily expand 5 more inches of chest and dog length. I am extremely grateful for this product that will enable me and my senior dog to enjoy her last days together in fabulous places. Many thanks!

Good Deal for the price.
I ordered this for my 32 lb Boston Terrier. I went by the weight recommendation listed and the fact that the back length recommendation was for a Large. TO be safe, I went with the bigger size, worried weight would be a big factor as far as stitching/durability. The overall carrier is great and would suffice nicely. The straps that secure her wrap around her body and over her shoulders, then snap at her lower abdomen. Because of that, the over-the-shoulder straps were too long, and her head kept popping out of the side of the shoulder harness. I do not believe this harness would accomodate a much longer dog, like a husky/ rotty or golden, unless they were puppy/adolescent. Also, because it is front carry, it will take a toll on your back, even with the waist and upper back harness.

Descriptions need to be corrected for each size.
Update: reordered this in Large. Not sure if it would work for a 35lb dog as it states in the description for all of the sizes, but it does work perfect for my 22lb Corgi. One of the shoulder straps slipped out when I stood up with with her. Hope that's not going to be a regular issue, but I can probably fix that easily if it is. One design improvement I would suggest is to put the latch of the waste strap on the side where it is easier to reach and maybe something similar with the strap that keeps the straps together higher up on the back so that it doesn't take 2 people to put this on. Overall, if you'd just change the descriptions for each of the sizes so that they are accurate for each size, then I would give 5 stars. The item seams great and well made. The problem is in the item descriptions under each size.....small, medium, large and extra large all state for digs up to 35 lbs. I ordered the medium because my dog (Corgi, 22lbs) is considered a medium sized dog and most things we get for her that work best are medium. The medium is about 8 ir 10 inches too short for her. Sending this one back and will order a large. I'll update once it arrives and try it on her.

Finaly a bag that fits him and does not hurt my shoulders.
It gets costly trying different products and nothing ever fits correct or is secure enough for what I need. I had to go through 2 sizes of these and numerous other brands. Using the front bag vs the backpacks has been a game changer, now with him being able to rest his feet on the tank and lay his head on my arm it makes the ride so much more comfortable for both of us. I do wish they would redesign the strap on the back. It is very difficult to do on your own, so if you doing it on your own you will need to be flexible enough to reach it or the pack will slide off with movement. The buckles also need a redesign, when pulling to tighten if you are not straight on it will tangle and flip over because of the big opening. Worth the purchase, he loves it and will just lay on top of it waiting to get loaded in.

Not for my buddy Buzz
I bought this PetBonus front dog carrier backpack because I had big plans for my little adventure buddy, Buzz. The goal was to bring this tiny Taz devil with me on bike rides and hiking trips so he could become my official trail companion. Well… turns out Buzz had a different plan. 😂 The moment I put him in the carrier, I discovered he might not be a fan of heights. He started trying to escape like he was planning a jailbreak. As much as I wanted him to enjoy the adventure, it just didn’t feel safe for either of us, so I decided not to force it. The carrier itself is actually made with solid materials. It feels durable and looks like it can handle outdoor adventures. My only complaint is that wearing it in the front wasn’t the most comfortable for me, especially after having it on for a while. I think this would work better for a calmer dog who enjoys being carried and doesn’t think every new experience is an escape mission. If your pup loves being close to you and stays relaxed, this could be a great option. For Buzz, I guess we’ll stick to four paws on the ground for now. 😂

My dog loves it!
UPDATE: My vet told me these harnesses are fine as long as your dog doesn’t display discomfort. Well after a couple months of daily walks my dog started not liking the harness and I noticed a rash on her butt area so I’ve stopped using this for now. I think its fine it for bikes or scooter rides but the constant up-and-down movement during walking will eventually cause rashes and discomfort. It’s still a well made product so I am leaving my 5 stars but just be mindful of your use cases. —————————————————————— —————————————————————— My dog loves this carrier. As soon as I grab it she starts wagging her tail and starts jumping around. Once I place her in, she becomes completely still and relaxes her muscles. It’s unbelievable. I’ve never seen her so comfortable in anything before! We take 30 minute walks every night and she likes to cuddle with me after as if to say thanks for the ride lol. I appreciate the padding on this carrier. I think it helps a lot with making her relaxed. I also like the OD green color and the back straps to secure everything. My only concern would be her tail area. There’s a hole for her tail but I’m not sure if she likes that as sometimes she shifts her body to the side. Not sure what would be a better design though for next time. Bigger hole?

Good but a bit clunky
It took my dog a bit to get used to it. It is secure, portable, a good value for the price. The design is a bit clunky but good.

Perfect for my dog
Bought this for my frenchie, we take him on lots of hiking but sometimes the terrain can be tough or we have to walk ledges so we use the backpack, it is comfy for him and for us to wear

Perfect dog carrier
I love this backpack! It'll be so much easier taking my dog through train stations now. I bought a medium size first as per size guide but it was too small, returned that and ordered large for my 11kg lhasa apso. Great fit and so comfy for both of us. My dog has allergies and bites his legs a lot and this backpack didn't rub on the sores at all.

Nice!
Size L fits my 11 kg cocker spaniel pretty good. Haven't tried it outside yet but she looks comfortable.
