I recently purchased two 100% goose down pillows, and I absolutely love them. They are incredibly soft, supportive, and comfortable. Since I started using them, I’ve noticed a big improvement in my sleep—I’m not waking up nearly as often during the night. They are definitely on the expensive side, but in my opinion, they are well worth the investment. If the price is a concern, I did what worked for me and paid over time. I would highly recommend these pillows to anyone looking to improve their sleep quality and overall comfort.

The price of these pillows is the only downside (I paid ~$135 ea). Why does comfort have to be so expensive. I think I am only upset at the price as I had to order a few pillow sets before realizing I should have purchased these first. Now, I will never buy a pillow that is not at least 50% down Any sleep position works well with these pillows. They fluff back to shape very easily. Yeah they smelled weird for a few days but that went away. Shipping was fast and the packaging isn't low budget. they come with a carrying case (who is really going to use that). I don't feel any poking feathers sticks thru the pillow even with the case off. This brand is not clumpy at all. Final Disposition: SMOOTH, SOFT, SUTTLE pillows that are true Hotel like; giving me the best sleep I've had. However, little question mark in my head thinks I could have bought the 50/50 version, saved $ and not know the difference

I'll give it 4 stars due to the fact its a quality pillow. Lesson learned though, don't buy down/feather pillows online. There is no firmness at all nor neck support if you use the pillow buy itself. I had to use both pillows stacked to give any type of support and I sleep on my side. You've been warned. These are good quality pillows without a doubt, but the fail is this ; not enough firmness at 550 fill power for side sleepers per pillow, no pillow cover that is removable and washable, so I'll have to go buy some, When I lay my head on the pillow it flattens out to where you have about 1 inch of cushion on the head with NO neck support. Definitely not the feather pillows I was used to when I was growing up. Next time I'll have my mom make the pillows for me at half this price.

Let me preface this. I wanted to NOT like this pillow. Why? Because it's almost $200 for a single pillow. I wanted to believe in the foam pillows. I wanted to believe in the down alternative. I wanted to spend 30 on a pillow and be done with it. Really. But I'm sharing this with you to let you know it's all wrong. And this is indeed the promised land when it comes to pillows. Why is it so good? Is everything online that they say correct about down being the best pillows? Yes it really is. Here's why. First it sleeps completely room temperature. It's almost crazy how it does it. You can have your head on it and feel the heat go right off and into the down oblivion. Doesn't warm up at all. Tested even after a hot shower. Now the firmness. I was told down is not as firm. Depending on the fill power this being 600+ it is going to get you there. This pillow is NOT soft and squishy. You smack it with your hand and it's going to push back. Now you might be thinking but I don't want a firm rock solid pillow. Read carefully now because this is where the magic of down really kicks in. Although the pillow is 'firm' your head sinks into it like a puddle. The significant difference is right here. Foam pillows, down alternatives and regular pillows ALL push back on you harder the more you lay into the pillow. They do this in an uneven matter too. This does NOT. It's like a magical float. I am a side sleeper and regular pillows all push back on me or are too squishy with no. Support. I would wake up with sore cheekbones and sore side of the neck from the pillow pushing on my face or neck. This feels like nothing is there. Simply support Now cheapy Joe you might of seen other pillows on Amazon with tons of great reviews. This one can't be that much better can it? I have the Hilton Down alternative (one with the 50k reviews) praying hoping it would be the same performance with 1/4 of the price. To the touch they are about the same but when you lay on it your head gets uneven pressure and it's not enjoyable. I can't emphasize it enough, this pillow gives you a cloud like float. You can sleep on your eye and it won't even feel any pressure. A comforting all around the head cuddle. Top 3 best purchases I have ever made.

LOVE THESE PILLOWS!! I bought one set of these (550 powerfill) and one set of the 800 powerfill as well. I use one of each for sleeping. Both are really great pillows....so soft and yet strangely supportive at the same time. I did't expect to love these. I have been sleeping on Tempur pillows for over 10 years now. After staying in a hotel recently with down (50% down/50% Feather) pillows....I slept great on them. I checked Amazon and found these 100% down and figured these were worth a try. Glad I did. I have been sleeping so great since these arrived. They perfectly conform to any shape you want. They are perfectly hugable and provide support at the same time. As for the 550 fill vs the 800 fill, I am happy to have one of each. The 550s are a little less fluffy than the 800s, but either set make for a great night's sleep. I can't imagine anyone would't love these.

Bought two of these pillows. They are (both) extremely extremely soft... so much so that your head sinks right down to the bed leaving maybe a half-inch of cushion. This may appeal to some people, but it didn't appeal to me (or my wife) at all! I was going to return them, but first I purchased two [Coop Home Goods Shredded Hypoallergenic Memory Foam Pillow with Removable Polyester and Bamboo Derived Vicose Rayon Cover - King]. Those pillows are amazing!!! And, as it turns out, these super soft Down pillows make great under-pillows for them since they sink so badly... it gives a perfect amount of lift without your head being too high. I think these two make the most amazing combo of pillows I have ever experienced... though most of that is due to the shredded memory foam pillows. However, two of the shredded memory foam pillows would give to much lift so . . . I'm glad I have the down ones to go with them. That's my .02 cents - hope it helps somebody.

When I bought the pillows, I didn't realize East Coast Bedding was a small company. If you haven't visited their Facebook page, you really should. Watch a few of the videos. It's endearing. If those are not 100% genuine, the guy has a future acting in daytime TV drama shows if this bedroom furniture/bedding thing doesn't work out. The pillows are sold under the East Coast Bedding name directly, so I'm not sure who actually manufactures these. (I'm also not sure I care.) I doubt the owner has his wife in the back room sewing pillow cases and the kids stuffing them. I do know these are incredibly comfortable pillows that are absolutely silent. No crunchy noises here. I don't know it's 100% down as didn't cut it open, but what a nice feel they have. We really liked our previous feather pillows, but after a couple years of waking up with a feather or two stuck to us ... or on the bed ... or on the floor ... or finding a dozen feathers in the dryer's lint trap from washing the pillow cases, we needed to replace them after they lost about 1/2 their filling. I did some research and found out that down is better than feathers (or a down/feather mix) both in comfort and not "shedding." While I found sites with really good explanations of the various types of fill, pillow firmness and such, the prices I found at them were obnoxious. Some were as high as $400 each. I don't know what you paid for your bed, but in my opinion, the cost of two pillows shouldn't be a significant fraction of the cost of the bed they are on. I also found out "Fill Power" (FP) is a real thing with down pillows. From one site, I found out that "fill power is a measurement of the amount of space one (1) ounce of down will occupy in cubic inches when allowed to reach its maximum loft." Apparently, 500 is kind of the minimum, and the higher number the better. The highest I saw was 800 (and the pillows were $400 each). According to East Coast Bedding, these are 550 FP. I'm a "side-sleeper" and that seems to be firm enough for me while still being comfortable. I might recommend putting the "Set of 2" close to the beginning of the title like "East coast bedding Set of 2 100% White Down Pillow 100% Cotton Fabric - 550 Fill Power (Queen)" Based on the other prices I had found, $150 a pillow was not outrageous, but still more than I wanted to pay. I reread the item description and realized it was two pillows. Order placed. Be VERY CAREFUL OPENING THE BOX with a razor knife. The box Amazon used for shipping these really stuffed the pillows in pretty tightly with no gap in the box. The pillows were in a thick plastic bag, but even so, a little carelessness and you might just perform your own experiment to verify if these are stuffed with 100% down or not.

I purchased these pillows as a christmas present for my wife and after only a few months, there are feathers all over the place. There are quills coming out left and right that poke you in the face during the night. They go flat like a pancake as well, but even that I could live with, but not feathers and quills coming out and feathers all over. Ive owned down pillows before, and there are no quills at all. The 30 day window is far gone, however this company should stand by their product when a customer has a completely legitimate complaint such as this. Huge waste of money, very unhappy.
