My daughter is 4.5 and outgrown her extended rear facing car seat, or very near to. Now that she is 4.5, we decided to go for a high back booster. I won't lie, I was extremely nervous. Others had told me to go for another forward facing seat with a harness, however having researched this I believe her to be safer with a normal seatbelt, assuming the fit is good. So off I went to the ADAC website. Although they don't test all seats, of course, I decided to go by their recommendations by sorting from best scoring. This seat has actually not been tested, however its predecessor (the S I-Fix) for a high back booster scored amazingly. Armed with that information, I am trusting that this seat is just as safe. The best score I saw for any high back booster was 1.7, but this seat was 1.8 (the lower the better) so very close. It also notes the seats 'exemplary' seating position and 'good padding'.The seat only arrived yesterday and she's not been in it for any lengthy journeys, however she has old me that she's comfy. She loves the colour - Nature Green (not my favourite but definitely nicer than the pics). I personally think that the headrest looks quite narrow, however she does manage to turn her head fully to the side, so it must be bigger than it looks!It is very easy to fit and feels very sturdy, especially in comparison to most of the seats I looked at in a popular high street store, only helped by the isofix connectors. I have read a few reviews saying it's unstable, however personally I don't see this at all. It's worth noting that I have had to remove the headrest from behind the seat as it did feel slightly unstable prior to its removal as it was pushing it forwards.Overall, so far, I am very happy with this seat.

This seat is intended for the older child (100 - 150 cm, From approx. 3 to 12 years (15 - 50 kg)) and has no baby padding or seat attached harness. Child uses the car seat belts through specific locations on seat. Note: there is a newer model with improved side impact pads.Easy to fit but does need a bit of arm power to assemble back to seat and extend /retract the ISO arms - very necessary for the child’s safety. Easily fitted to the car’s ISO fixings.A mug holder to fit this seat which slots between frame and cushion is between 1/3 to 1/5 the cost of the seat! There are considerably cheaper models which appear to do the same job.

Easy to fix in to the car. Good comfort too. My 4yr old kid love this, he sleeps one time lol..

Such a good car seat for the final purchase of one (I hope). From the parent perspective, it’s really easy to assemble and install, perfect for swapping between cars.From the child’s perspective, it’s really comfortable to sit in, the reclining headrest is great for longer journeys and naps. The colour is “sooo cool”.Would recommend 100%

I was a bit nervous to buy this from Amazon due to many bad experiences with damaged parcels and the odd fake.But this arrived in perfect condition and is a great car seat!My daughter did say the seat base little on the small side even though she’s very petite, but is comfortable enough. For long journeys her feet hang over the seat uncomfortably but all seats seem to be like this. She’s 12 and very small for her age. 135cm and about 4 stone. This seat goes up to 150cm and 50kg.

This is the third one of these we have bought. We already have them in our cars so got one for grandad. Easy to install and use. Three year old can get into it on his own.

Wir nutzen den CYBEX Gold Kindersitz Solution S2 i-Fix nun seit einigen Wochen und sind sehr zufrieden. Der Sitz ist nach der aktuellen UN R129/03 Norm zugelassen. Einen ADAC-Test habe ich leider nur vom Vorgängermodell gefunden, dieser hatte sehr gut abgeschnitten – daher gehe ich davon aus, dass auch der S2 i-Fix ein ähnlich gutes Ergebnis erzielen würde.Auch der Komfort überzeugt. Mein Sohn findet den Sitz sehr bequem, und beim Schlafen fällt der Kopf nicht nach vorne – ein echtes Plus bei längeren Fahrten. Der Sitz ist verstellbar, sodass er mitwächst. Laut Hersteller passt er bei Kindern von etwa 100 bis 150 cm (ca. 3–12 Jahre).Der Einbau ist unkompliziert. Mit Isofix steht der Sitz fest und sicher, und auch der Gurtverlauf am Kind ist optimal. Positiv ist außerdem, dass der Bezug laut Hersteller abnehmbar und waschbar ist – im Alltag mit Kindern sicher praktisch.Das einzige, was etwas umständlich ist: Der Anschnaller liegt auf der Seite zur Fahrzeugmitte hin. Solange sich das Kind noch nicht selbst zuverlässig anschnallen kann, muss man sich beugen oder kurz ins Auto einsteigen. Ich denke aber, das ist bei allen Sitzen dieser Altersklasse ähnlich.Fazit: Ein durchdachter, sicherer und bequemer Sitz, der lange nutzbar ist und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bietet. Wir würden ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.
