Multimeter is an exceptional tool
The ANENG TRMS Multimeter is an exceptional tool that perfectly balances professional-grade features with user-friendly operation. As an electronics hobbyist, its 9999-count display and True RMS voltage reading provide the accuracy I need for sensitive components, ensuring my measurements are consistently reliable. The "Anti-Burning" protection has already proven its worth, saving the device from an accidental over-voltage mishap that would have destroyed a lesser meter. This durability, combined with smart auto-ranging, makes it incredibly straightforward to use for both quick diagnostics and more intricate projects. For its price, the value is unbeatable. It feels solid and well-made, offering functionality found in models costing significantly more. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast, a student, or a professional, this ANENG multimeter delivers precision, resilience, and peace of mind. It's a highly recommended, trustworthy instrument that has quickly become an indispensable part of my toolkit.

Its really an amazing device for the price.
Very accurate and easy to use if you leave it on auto. I honestly would not know how to use it other than why I purchased it for. (To check my car battery) Its has tons of uses and features.

Multimeter
Great product for the fraction of the price. Large screen make it easy to read. And with the auto detect it’s one Less step worrying about the function.

Smart touch is awesome 👌 (don't use EF meter to magnet!!!)
I'm a fire alarm technician and this is an awesome multimeter! I did test it closely to a magnet and the ef meter stopped working. The meter still works but I was able to test outlets (receptacles) for power wireless.. now I can't after the magnet test. For the price I bought a second smart touch meter. It's really great for the price and all the technicians love it. Thus meter is definitely a flex 💪 and fun to use. It's very accurate and well worth the money. And it has a freaking touch screen 😍

No idea where the battery 'cliff' is until you have reached it? Seems ok otherwise.
I could be mistaken, but, it *appears* the multimeter does not have a way to tell you the charge level of the battery powering the device until it gets to the point where the documentation says the device will display an icon indicating the need to charge it. ie: you don't know where the edge of the cliff is until you're about to fall off. meaning: you might unexpectedly end up with an unusable device, which is somewhat problematic. Pressing buttons does not ever reach a point of showing the current battery level. Images show a 'Charge' item might appear at some point, but, I *guess* this might be when the battery is low? Aside from this, it seems to be a decent measuring device so far.

Impossible to read outdoors
It’s not a terrible tester but useless outdoors in sunlight really. The screen just doesn’t have the brightness for use outdoors. I have to hold my hand over it and almost cuff my face to read it which makes it basically useless for automotive repair completely. The beeping noises are annoying. As far as testing goes it appears to be fairly accurate. That said it works okay indoors if that is your main use. It can be hard to tell if it’s in the right mode and auto mode can decide you are checking continuity if you are checking low voltage circuits which is annoying really. I suppose I wasn’t expecting auto mode to work well anyway. I really prefer to have a dial to select the mode I’m using just to be sure it’s on the right setting and all that. The whole smart thing is just not helpful compared to a fluke meter and the standard that’s been around for years. Of course this is much less than a true rms fluke any day so you can’t expect the same experience. I’d just say to buy a better one like a fluke if you have the means to do so, there will be way less headaches with a quality product like those.
