Resmed airfit™ f20 replacement cpap mask headgear (large) versus the standard? does standard mean medium?

I just received a small and it is Really small! The large straps are too long for me, but the small front strap is not adjustable. Going to try the medium.

Why did you change the headgear? Does it get loose with time?

the headgear does get loose after time and dirty too if not washed periodically.

Is this "Large" headgear actually bigger than the one I have seen elsewhere listed as standard?

The one I received that says Large on the headgear is identical to the “standard” one I get via insurance.
