Amazon Essentials Ladies' 14k Gold Filled Polished Embossed Cross Pendant Necklace, 18"

I have been looking for an everyday wear necklace for a couple of months now. I don’t often wear any jewelry at all, so finding something cute, simple, light, and durable was all on my checklist. For a span of about 5 days, I would search for the keywords “Gold Cross Necklace” and go through what seemed to be many many options. I knew I didn’t want to spend a fortune (due to the fact that I rarely wear jewelry, and when I do it doesn’t stay on long because it bugs me) but I also didn’t want something that looked, or felt cheap! I was a little weary due to a few of the reviews on this specific product, but after these days and days of having it in my cart I decided to just go ahead and order. I’m glad I did! The packaging- as many have said is unfortunately not the best. It came in a cheap little box, and was indeed knotted up. But it wasn’t anything a few minutes of patience didn’t fix! I thought about knocking A star off for that, but the truth is the actual product has so far done me so well! I’ve had it for about a week now, and I have not taken it off since! This necklace is so light and dainty that I hardly notice I am wearing it! The chain is very thin, yet not cheap looking or feeling. It is the perfect length, which is also something I was curious about. Compliments your shape perfectly where it lays. Sleeping in this necklace hasn’t bothered me even once, and it’s held up through all my weird contorted positions I end up in throughout the night (LOL). I work in a nursing home as a CNA, and I wear it there without any trouble of it dangling in the way, or catching on anything, which is great because scrubs aren’t flattering and a little necklace makes me feel a little nicer. The biggest question I had was would it turn my skin green, or hold up in water/ showering? The answer I’m proud to say is NO it hasn’t turned any color and YES it holds up to it’s true potential in the shower! I truly truly believe in this affordable little cross necklace and I hope anyone who is looking into buying this just takes that leap because I haven’t been sorry! I am so so picky about what’s on or touching me, In fact I never write reviews but I wanted to be helpful to those looking into this necklace. To be completely honest, because the chain IS dainty and small, it might one day catch on something and break BUT if that happens, I will without a doubt just reorder this exact product! As affordable, cute, and happy this had made me I won’t even question it. I hope this was helpful to you!

The cross is a pretty shade of gold but it is very small and dainty. Suitable for a woman who wants a dainty and subtle cross or as a young child's necklace. I don't regret buying for a woman, but given the size I recommend waiting for a deal if possible on the item. My included photos probably make it look larger than it is due to using macro on the camera. Also included a photo next to a dime for size comparison. The back side photo shows the 1/20 gold filled marking. Overall, nice piece if you can get it at a good price, just be aware of the size for your needs.

Gift but does not seem durable. Too small of chain clasp but the cross was very beautiful but smaller than I anticipated.

Simple and beautiful, this cross is a joy to wear. Quality is wonderful. Chain is light and attractive, complementary to the size of cross. I haven’t taken it off since I got it for Christmas. Fantastic value.

I absolutely love the look of this necklace and the fact that it holds up through anything. The only problem I’ve found is the chain will randomly break. This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this same necklace and each time the chain snaps. I don’t know what to do at this point because it seems like a waste spending money on this just to wear it for a month or two and have to buy it again.

Pretty. I like it. Lot smaller than I expected

I was given a similar necklace to this one for my baptism last year but unfortunately the chain was so small and dainty that it broke. I've been looking for another necklace that resembled the old one with the same great value and quality, and stumbled upon this one. 10/10! I actually think this necklace is better than the one I was given lol I shower with it and it hasn't rusted (the chain nor the cross has rusted), and it hasn't rubbed off or turned my skin green! I've had it for about a month now and I haven't taken it off since I received it in the mail. It also comes in a nice packaging. I would definitely buy again if it were to break (which I doubt it will anytime soon).

A really pretty necklace that will not rot if you put it in water or don’t take it of. In my experience, I have been wearing it for months without taking it of for one second and it is still perfectly intact. I also have 3c curly hair and no it won’t get stuck in it as I feared. Had a lot of compliments and it fit will all your fit no matter what. It is worth the price ALL THE WAY

I have wanted to buy a cross necklace for a long time but didn't want to spend a fortune on one. This is perfect! It is feminine and so pretty. There were no knots in the chain as some people complained of, and I received the cross that was advertised (some said they got the wrong item). I am very, very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. It also arrived very quickly!!!
