Valued book for beginners!

This book is a great resource for any pyrographer. The patterns were pretty decent and I like how it gives the outline as well as a pencil sketch so you can visualize the tones and bring your work some dimension. The only thing I wish was different is, I wish it had more patterns. I think the best part of this book is a few pages are strictly dedicated on showing the artist how to create textures, and which tips to use and which strokes to use to create certain textures (i.e. fur, feathers, wood grains, ect). I would definitely recommend this book!

I am an absolute noob to woodburning and really haven't yet started. I have been looking through this book and garnering information on the various aspects. This book has lots of great information and suggestions on how to get started, how to copy out the templates and other pictures and various techniques that will be useful. I recommend this for any beginners.

Excellent book ,great patterns, alot of Information to use for different techniques to use. I highly recommend this pyrography book. I did a lazy susan for using on a picnic table with the techniques in the book . Now I will be doing a picnic table with designs.

Beautiful pictures. There's a lot of information. My hubby is fairly new to wood burning, but he felt this book was easy to follow. Detailed illustrations showing different techniques. Great book, reasonably priced.
