New seat posts are great.
Great item, so happy to get new ones instead of reusing the old set.

Works for what it's meant to do
This is really the only way you can install a toilet seat in an installed Toto Carlyle toilet without reoving the toilet. Yes, crazy design but you won't experience that issue until about 25 years after the toilet installation and who stays on one place that long? Well, some people do and some people buy places that installed a Toto that long ago. The "fix" works and I don't understand the complaints other than you really have to work hard to push the bolt receptor into the hole (it isn't easy). Once you do, the rest is a snap and I have not had the toilet seat wobble at all.

Costly for a couple of bolts
I recently bought a new Toto toilet. Amazingly, it did not come with the anchor bolts, so I had to buy them separately. Fortunately, Amazon carried them so it was easy to acquire them. But wow, they cost a packet for what you get. I guess that's because they're proprietary and bear the Toto name. I didn't want to take a chance with ordering a generic bolt and having it not work. I wanted the installation to go as smoothly as possible. The contractor had a devil of a time installing the toilet as it was, and good thing I had the right parts all ready for him. It was worth it in the end, as the installation was successful and I love that Toto.

Exact item specified by TOTO
These were for the Toto skirted toilet seat. We were replacing the original seat. We called the TOTO service center and were told that they were not included with the seat for the washlet. They also said the washlet seat would fit the regular skirted toilet. To our surprise- the bolts were included with the washlet seat!!!

Expensive but Work Great
When you replace a seat on Toto toilets you need these replacement bolts. Unlike many American makes where the bolts are reusable, the Toto's, unless you get very lucky, are not...you put them in once and if you have to undo them, you have to replace them. It's too bad and at $5 bucks a bolt $10 for the pair, this is sort of ridiculous...but if you have a Toto toilet, it's what you have to do.Once you get over the cost, you'll find these replacements work extremely well and once tightened you won't have to worry about that new seat moving about at all. They are expensive bolts and not easy to install...though easier to put in than take out...still, these are quality items that work well...and if you need them...grit your teeth and put your money down. They ship quickly and work very well and that will take some of the sting out of the purchase.

Exact fit but avoid using a power screwdriver
I’m pretty sure I destroyed the original anchors by using a high-speed bit driver to unscrew them. This is why I had to order these. To be on the safe side, I used a regular screwdriver and slowly tighten EACH anchor 3-4 turns at a time - until they were tight (but not crazy tight). Tip: I used a large needle nose pliers to grab onto the top of the old anchors, then did a counter-clockwise pull upwards to get them out.

A bit pricy but works great
We have a garden variety TOTO toilet (not the skirted version) and the seat has been moving side to side ever since we had it installed. The seat broke and had to be replaced and instead of using the bolts that come with the new seat I ordered these and I am very glad I bought them. They were pretty easy to install (a bit hard to get the rubber bushing into the holes for these old hands, but I managed) and the seat no longer shifts when it moves, I think they are a bit pricy, but they work - it would certainly be great if they shipped these with the toilet seats instead of the nylon ones.

Works great...but...
This is an awesome little gadget that saved me tons of headache and money when trying to replace the toilet seat on a skirted Toto toilet. It works like a charm and deserves a 5 stars for this part. The only reason I gave a 3 stars was because I agree with other comments that we shouldn’t have to buy an extra part to get the job done just because Toto toilet seat turned disgustingly yellow over time and have no choice but to replace it. If this is how Toto decides to nickel and dime customers, they are making a huge mistake. No more Toto toilet for me-:(
