I purchased the Sprite Showers SLC-R Slim-Line Shower Filter Replacement Cartridge to maintain the quality of water in my shower. After noticing some hard water issues, I wanted a reliable solution to improve water quality. Pros: Effective Filtration: This cartridge does an excellent job of filtering out chlorine and other impurities, resulting in noticeably softer and cleaner water. Easy Installation: Replacing the old cartridge with this one was straightforward and hassle-free. Long-Lasting: The cartridge lasts for several months before needing a replacement, making it a cost-effective solution. Improved Shower Experience: The filtered water feels much better on the skin and hair, reducing dryness and irritation. Cons: Price: It’s a bit pricey for a single cartridge, but the benefits justify the cost. Flow Rate: There’s a slight reduction in water pressure, but it's not significant enough to impact the overall shower experience. Performance and Usability: Since installing the Sprite Showers SLC-R Slim-Line Cartridge, the quality of my shower water has greatly improved. My skin and hair feel much softer, and there is a noticeable reduction in the smell of chlorine. Each filter lasts me around 3 months, I start to notice my pressure decreases and I know it’s time for a change. This product has never leaked on me, it seals night and tight and adds a little space to your shower head. The silver appearance on my filter housing looks good with my shower. They just be working good because I’m over a year in and my wife is saying her skin looks and feels cleaner! 10/10 recommend

I’ve used these filters for a couple of decade. The only difference between now and back then is the price. These days it’s more, but I don’t mind for the quality of what I’m getting. Having softer hair and my skin not suffering as it use to is still great. When I travel and have to stay at a hotel or someone’s house without a chlorine filter can tell the difference. My hair is so dry ifs difficult to style. At this stage in life having filtered water for hair and skin is even more important as I age. Sometimes it’s a pain to swap out the replacement because the filter holder has suffered from the chlorinated water and the holder has issues. But it’s easy to get a replacement that comes with a new filter. The holder, for me, lasts a half dozen or so years. I appreciate the company has continued to produce quality filters for a decent price

We use these filters and notice a meaningful difference in our skin and hair (for the better). Pretty easy to install both the filter and a replacement cartridge. We change the cartridge about every 4 months.

Works like a charm. Before I put this on, my showers left me feeling less than clean, and with dry itchy skin. My water pressure stayed the same, and it was a breeze to install. I highly recommend this filter to anyone who doesn't want to shower in overly chlorinated water.

For the price, and replacement (not even ten minutes of one's time), this will keep one's skin soft, feeling better and the lime build-up at a minimum without doing any real change or reduction to water pressure or water flow. For what I'd spend on some rather senseless things, what I get out of a decent filter pays for itself rather quickly when I don't have to replace my showerhead every other year. Would recommend, and pair up with your favorite showerhead/wand combo or keep it simple with just a decent sized showerhead.

This product works effectively for chlorine, but does not help with hard water. I don’t take long showers so it lasts a month. You have to have the holder lubricated properly or they are not the easiest to replace,but if you follow instructions a it’s doable.

Both filters I ordered arrived with no problems and work as they should

Those a great job at filtering minerals out of the water, water here is so full of minerals that are hair was turning green and this filtering device works best 😃 I fully recommend this product!

Removes the odour and problems, much better to take a shower now

The sealing surface on the inlet side of the filter had many shallow pits, as shown in the attached photo. I could feel the roughness when passing my finger over it. I was worried that this would cause a leak, but there was no leak. My skin and hair definitely felt better after taking a shower with the new filter cartridge. Skin felt more like after taking a swim in a lake than after a shower. The review would be 5 stars based on that, but I am subtracting one star because of the damaged sealing surface. Amazon's packing was ridiculous. They simply put 3 different items from one order into a box, with no padding. But I don't think this damage happened during shipping. The filter was in its own box, and that seems undamaged. This seems like damage that happened while the plastic was at least partly molten and soft. There are also bits embedded in the plastic in a few places, and they seem to be from the media inside the filter. That could only have happened during manufacturing. There was no filter media loose outside the filter. I sent an e-mail to the manufacturer to notify them about this, attaching the photo, and got no response. Remember to grease the O-rings in the filter housing with silicone grease.
