Small Size, Strong Performance!
This bracket really impressed me with its stability and overall sturdiness despite being so compact. The material feels solid for everyday use, and the alignment of the mount keeps my flash positioned perfectly without slipping. The grip and adhesion are reliable, holding both the flash and umbrella securely during shoots. I also like the wide compatibility it works well with different speedlites and light stands without any hassle. Overall, a small accessory with strong performanceperfect for both beginners and regular use!

Versatile flash bracket
The flash holder covers several options for mounting the cold flash shoe on a light stand or tripod. The cold shoe design has clearance for the pins on a flash unit so that they are not shorted out, unlike some other cold shoes. The bracket has provision for an umbrella mount which is also adjustable. Construction appears durable. All for a great price, and whatsmore for a pair!

Sturdy metal construction-Nice addition to my lighting setup
I like these flash mounts. I use them on my light stands for umbrellas and soft box lights. It's nice that they gave me adapters in case my light stand didn't accomodate the mounts. My stands work perfectly without the adapters but it looks like these could even be fastened to a standard camera tripod with the threaded barrel connectors.BTW, the adapters are reversable with two different thread sizes for a variety of stand/tripod connections. These mounts appear to be made of metal... they feel heavier than aluminum, but in any case they are very sturdy. You can't miss with these if you want to use a flash in your umbrella lights. If I had any complaint, it would be that they use a knurled screw in two places that required a screwdriver to loosen/tighten. In two other joints they used a plastic knob for tightening... those work great, I wish they had used plastic knobs all around rather than half and half. I will probably try to find plastic knobs for the two places they didn't use them. Overall... I'm really happy with these mounts.

Versatile and Reliable
These brackets hold a speedlight quite securely if you use a screwdriver to tighten the screw on the jaws. I was unable to rely on "hand tight" assembly but the screws are slotted. They are just a bit small. The design provides plenty of flexibility for aiming your light and umbrella. The studs provided are machined - not cast - aluminum. They produce a nice, smooth pivoting motion during aiming. For an aluminum bracket of this quality you really can't beat the price. I bought four.

Great value, durable. I'm already abusing them.
They're pretty tough, especially given the price for two. To be honest, I've long since stopped babying these. I freely toss them around now, and don't care if, say, the tripod falls over. Definitely can handle moderate abuse. This was able to easily hold a Godox 860II, which is a pretty heavy speedlight, and a 3 foot softbox, hanging at a 45* angle from a boom arm. Solid. The only potential negative worth sharing is that the screw at the top to loosen the hotshoe CAN be accidentally(?) removed, but it would honestly take negligence to reach that point. I only removed it to test the extremes, and I can imagine someone having issues re-assembling due to the springs. This is a non-issue, because at full extension, the holder is already FAR beyond the width of a hotshoe--you'll SEE you've gone too far long before you actually remove the screw.

Functional, but not the best design
Best thing I can say for these is that they work just as intended. However, it seems to me whoever designed these never actually used them. The tiny screw that tightens the foot to secure the flash can't be tightened enough with your fingers to hold the flash in. I found out the hard way as my flash crashed to the floor 4 feet down. I got lucky, it wan't damaged. Lesson learned. But you really need to harf down on these screws with a screwdriver. Yeah, every photographer brings a hefty screwdriver on his shoots. Well, not. so that's a major downer. When secured properly, your flash is safe. Then there's the swivel to point your umbrella up or down. It has some detents meant to hold it in incremental positions. Well, they are not very deep, and don't work well at all. You really need to harf down on the adjustment screw to hold the flash and umbrella in position. And then you're not really sure it's actually going to hold without harfing some more. A bigger handle for the adjustment would be good, as well as better defined detents. With all the pressure needed to apply to secure it, I'm not sure the longevity of these units. All in all, the unit works as it should. Would I purchase them again. Emphatic No. Would I recommend? If you don't want to spend much, maybe be able to use them for a few gigs before they fail, have to carry a hefty screwdriver with you, then ok, these are for you.
