Good gift for 7 year old
I gifted it to my nephew who will turn 7 soon. he really loved it. Together we built the car and it worked perfectly fine. A very good STEM toy. It has lot to learn from it. The parts are good quality and the overall product turns out to be pretty neat. The solar feature is good and good learning tool overall. We went over the all the parts and googled them so my nephew learnt from it as well. We have it for 2 days now and its just amazing toy. Hopefully will get more of such toys which are fun to built, playing with it is secondary.

Great kit for learning and customizing
This kit is really easy to put together. The instructions…. The pictures could be better. 2 instances I was like whatttt are the pictures saying and turns out it was just weird instructions and I fixed it. It comes with 2 motors. One for forward and back and one for side to side. All the parts were inside. Even a few extra screws. The connectors are kid friendly. You just push down and slide the wire in. So there is no actual need for trying to connect. I was able to alter this set up quite a bit. I honestly needed just the body and motors. So if you are looking to customize it you can do that with a little work. It is a fantastic price for everything you get. And it does work exactly as described.

So far we love this little project. My son (almost 3 ) and my husband love putting things together and my son loves anything with wheels!

Fun and Cool...
This car looks like a funny car and is cool because of the solar panel. It does not turn, yet goes forwards and backward and made for a great gift for an engineer friend of mine. :) One notion I had was to turn it into a diy project and add a second remote with back-axel steering. I decided I did not have the time, yet it presents a great idea for hobbyists that may want to design a 'turning' remote control car with solar power. :)
