Redken Thermal Spray 22 High Hold – Heat Protection

READ DIRECTIONS: THIS IS FOR CURLING ONLY!! DO NOT USE THIS HEAT PROTECTANT TO GIVE YOURSELF A STRAIGHT OR BLOWOUT STYLE!!!! This has SUPER, INTENSE hold. I only use it PRIOR to curling my hair and only use it a section at a time because it is sticky and has a VERY STRONG HOLD. It works best before air-styling my hair and using the coanda curling attachment on my Shark Glam. It does a great job at protecting my hair and keeping the curl. I spray it, brush it, curl it, and then I pin the curl up. After I'm done, then I take the pins out after it has set and run my fingers through it. You won't be able to brush your hair due to the hold, but if holding a curl and longevity is what you are after, this is for you. It also SMELLS AMAZING!! I want a perfume that smells this good!

Love this spray!!! Yes when you spray it on damp hair it’s very sticky , but once your hair is dry it feels soft and has amazing body!! I have been searching for a product that gives my fine hair body and I’m obsessed with this product!

If you have stubborn hair that does not like to hold a curl or style, this stuff is amazing. I have stuck straight Asian hair (on the medium to thinner side) and my hair never holds a curl. I have the Dyson air wrap and saw so many people say their hair won’t hold a curl with it. I found that this stuff works perfectly with the air wrap and with any other heat styling tools and holds my style for DAYS. A little goes a long way, and it can feel sticky when first applied. I like to brush my hair after applying to distribute the product more and I’ve found the sticky feeling goes away. My hair doesn’t feel crunchy after and I don’t even need hairspray! The best part is it protects your hair from heat damage. I do wish the spray bottle was better as it can be difficult to apply. Definitely hold the bottle far away from your hair and apply while letting your hair “fall” while picking it up and letting stands down gently.

Rather expensive for what it is. Sticky but just brush it out before using heat and you will be fine. Good hold and love the scent. Reminds me of a salon. Drys quick enough too.

This product came highly recommended so I tried it a handful of times. It was flakey and made my hair look greasy. I also was not crazy about the scent or the price. Save your money.

I’ve been using this before blow drying and curling, and it’s been great. The mist is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair greasy or sticky, which is something I can’t stand with a lot of styling products. It adds a nice shine and keeps everything in place without making my hair feel stiff. The fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering, and the bottle size is decent since you don’t need much each time. My style lasts all day, and I’ve noticed less frizz and fewer flyaways. For anyone looking for heat protection with a strong hold that still lets your hair feel like hair, this one is worth trying.

I have thick wavy hair. To get it straightened I apply this before styling. When I use it on damp hair, it’s a softer finished touch. When I use it on dry hair and then straighten it, it’s a bit more stiff but the style lasts longer. Scent is mild, can create volume, last long for the price. Will buy again.

My bad for not seeing the dinky size for $29.99 never again. good product but Will just hit Ulta or Beauty store.

I've tried many heat protectants and they all make my hair feel gross or crunchy. I rolled the dice on this one since I watched a YouTube video that highly recommended it, and it actually makesy hair feel great. Note: I do use leave in conditioner (AG brand) ahead of this product and there's a short period in the blowdrying process where the product feels a little sticky, but after straightening, my hair feels soft and smooth.

It's hard for me to rate the quality of this product. Only after four months of use can I say I'm happy with the quality of my hair: there's less damage, and the ends aren't breaking. I'll definitely buy more.

I’ve been using this for years! I have very long, heavy, thick hair and it does NOT hold a curl for the life of me, but when i use this spray my hair smells nice, holds curls or shape, and is protected from heat damage!! I highly recommend

This heat protectant is absolutely awful. It made my hair feel extremely dry and sticky, leaving it clumped together instead of smooth. It performed terribly and was a huge disappointment. I definitely do not recommend it. Save your money, it’s not worth buying.

My hair usually gets oily in 1 day when I style it it lasted 3 days and the hold was amazing!! I straighten my hair and it didn’t budge it didn’t curl back for 3 days amazing the only thing is that it’s a little stiff/sticky
