Less of a size thing and more of a coat situation. But yes it will work on a lot of larger breeds I use it with a lot of akitias and it works fine. Now as far as a Newfie I think you could manage to get by but you’ll problaby want something a lot more powerful than this.

Q: Would this work for a show goat?

I owned a goat once several years ago. I don't know about your goats but a hair dryer for Noreiga the Billy would have been quite a spectacle!!! This thing drys hair quickly and is very durable - we have used it for over two years without issue... sometimes I dry my hair with it!!! Send us a video of the goat drying!
