Fits my Viper PST... Simple install though very tight fit, almost thought I wasn't going to be able to get it on but it kept the objective dry and clean like it should. Good quality as expected from Vortex.

These caps fit a Steiner P4XI well and are the best option I've found for this scope after a lot of searching. Overall, I'm happy with them, but there are some downsides. Pros: - Good fit on scope - Sturdy and protective - The caps fold back pretty far when open, so they don't get in the way - The cap closest to your eye has two open positions. One position points straight up to display a Dope disk, the other lays back on the scope to get the cap out of the way. Cons: - The cap closest to your eye covers the focus ring. This isn't a big issue, since you'll probably set the focus for yourself once and not adjust it again. If you need to change the focus, though, you'll have to remove the cap. - Depending on how your scope is positioned in the mount, there may not be enough of the scope tube to fully seat the cap on the end furthest from your eye. If this happens, the tube will not fully insert into the cap and the plastic ring at the end of the cap will not be seated on the scope tube. This makes the cap a little less secure but isn't a major issue for me. - The rubber doesn't hang onto the scope tube especially well. While I don't expect the caps to come off when sitting on the scope (open or closed), you may have to hold onto the rubber when you flip open the cap. This isn't a huge nuisance, but it's worth mentioning. With all the cons, it may sound like I don't like these, but I think they work fine. They could definitely be better, but they do what I want them to do, so I'd recommend them. Note that the correct fit for the Steiner P4XI is Eyepiece E-10 (41.5-46mm) & Objective Lens Cover O-24 (28-31 mm). Another review I saw on Amazon referenced the Steiner P4XI on a different size of these caps, but it was NOT the correct fit.

Vortex has very nice products. When I opened the package, immediately I realized that the DOPE sticker was different (shown in photo). It was just a single white sticker with 12 little lines ( 6 on each side) and one longer line across the bottom. It looked nothing like the photo online. I have a Christian Arms MPR .300 Win Mag with the Vortex Viper PST GenII. The silicone objective lense cover stretched fine to fit the scope but the way the scope fits on my gun WITHOUT an high scope ring, the caps don't fit. Just wanted to put that out there incase anyone has the same setup. Otherwise, the Vortex caps are awesome! The silicone is thick and strong yet very flexible. The scope caps both spring right up. They are very good quality! The caps also lay flat while open so as to keep your field of view clear. They are tight but not hard to apply. Again, very great quality!
