AMAZING!
AMAZING!! I needed a new headset for my PC but also had a budget, these headphones are AMAZING quality, they have good noise cancellation, clear sound, are easy to use, set up and SUPER comfortable. The buttons on the side are great and the mic is so easy to use and can easily be shaped and roll back into the headphones. Overall, best headset I have ever used and 10000% worth the price, they are sturdy so seem unlikey to break and I would buy again.

Good value at an affordable price
🧠 Overview The Arctis Nova 1 is SteelSeries’ entry-level headset in the Nova lineup, offering wired 3.5 mm connectivity and compatibility with a wide range of devices including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and more. 🎮 Design & Comfort Lightweight & Comfortable: Weighing in at around 235 g, it’s one of the lightest headsets in its class and very comfortable for long sessions thanks to soft ear cushions and a stretchy headband. Build Quality: The construction feels solid enough given the price, though the plastic design is fairly simple and not as premium as higher-end models. Fit: clamp can be a bit tight at first, but it’s generally comfortable over hours of play. 🔊 Audio Performance Balanced Sound: The headset offers neutral sound with a slight warmth, suitable for gaming and casual media use. Bass isn’t very punchy, and treble can feel a bit recessed without EQ tweaks, but overall it’s strong for the price. Spatial Awareness: You get basic surround-style audio via SteelSeries Sonar software on PC, helping with directional cues in games. 🎙️ Microphone Quality Clear Communication: The ClearCast Gen 2 noise-canceling boom mic captures vocal clarity well and filters out common background noises. Flexible & Retractable: The mic arm is adjustable and retracts cleanly when not in use. 🎮 Connectivity & Compatibility Versatile Wired Connection: Using a standard 3.5 mm jack, the headset works on consoles, PCs, and mobile devices with a headphone port — no drivers needed. Software Customization: On PC, you can use SteelSeries’ Sonar audio suite for EQ and spatial sound features, though this isn’t available on consoles. 👍 Pros Comfortable and lightweight for long gaming sessions. Clear and effective microphone for voice chat. Broad platform compatibility with 3.5 mm connection. Good value at an affordable price. 👎 Cons Sound profile is a bit neutral and may lack bass impact without EQ. Wired only — no USB or wireless options. Slightly tight clamp force for some wearers. 🏁 Conclusion The Arctis Nova 1 punches above its price point as a comfortable, dependable gaming headset with respectable audio and a solid mic. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of pricier models (like wireless, USB connectivity, or premium drivers), but for casual and competitive gamers on a budget, it’s a very strong choice that ticks most essential boxes.

A huge letdown
Ordered these headphones as my Razer Krakens were starting to break after a few years of usage, and I was heavily disappointed. The design for these headphones is very cool, but I think that's all it is, as the audio was horrific for me, and the headphones would only work when the wire is angled a very specific way. When I finally found the correct angle, I decided to hop into a game. I began the FPS game, and was soon very frustrated upon finding I could only hear anything if it was through the right ear, and all noises that should of been from the left were muffled by around 95%, which made the game unplayable. I would also argue that the packaging is too tight, as I genuinely struggled to open the box, however the stickers were a nice feature. The actual feel of the headphones is peculiar too, as they feel relatively cheap, despite being around £60, which isn't too cheap for gaming headphones. They are also not the comfiest, however I do like the idea of the headband to prevent a headphone dent. Overall though, they were not difficult to connect, but even the wires feel cheaply done. I understand I may of gotten a broken pair, which is unlucky, but despite this I wouldn't use these headphones willingly even if they were not broken.

Love them!
Love these. After many pairs of phones these are by far the best for simply being louder than the ones with flashy lights etc. Very comfortable. I bought nearly new used pair as they didn't have them. And they were as new. Saved a few quid as well which is nice. For the price these feel like a good pair of headphones. I first bought my son some brand new, he loved them so, I had a listen and I bought myself some. I'm hard of hearing and gaming headphones aren't very loud. These are a lot louder. Got one brand new and one nearly new pair and they were identical. Very great price for a really good pair of headphones. The mic is cool coz it pops inside the head phone and you just pull it out to use it. Which is great for me because I rarely use my headset mic. My only negative is that they don't have them in pink 🩷

Best choice for the price
Everyone compares them to the Blackshark so I'll do the same. As someone who has both of them, this one is my choice to go from now and on. It beats them in surround sounding and the mic quality is way better than their competitors. Also, their GG software helps a ton modifying them on the go while gaming multiple games that require adjustment. The footsteps on rainbow six are more audible than most other headphones I've had below £100

Great comfort and sound quality but mic cuts out
By far the most comfortable headphones. The sound quality is the best I've ever had. The microphone tucks away nicely and is very good quality when it picks up my voice, however, when playing loud games (warzone) the microphone couldn't distinguish between my talking and the game noise so kept cutting off.

Best Budget Headphones
These have been my go-to headphones for the past 3 years!! Lightweight and doesn't hurt the ears/ head after using them for the whole day. They look super sleek and beautiful! I also like how travel friendly they are - you can disconnect the wire from the headphones and fold it up AND the mic can be pushed into the headphones completely, rather than making you detach it with the possibility of losing it or requiring extra space to carry. Sound is good and even are compatible with my Nvidia Surround Sound 7.1 which makes them sound even better. Honestly the perfect budget headphones out there.
