Will this lift be suitable for a poulan pro zt 48” mower?

I use my lift on my commercial Ferris IS2600Z with a vehicle weight of 1600#. Yeah, it'll handle your home owner mower.

Can a pipe be fitted into the hole by the pedal so you can raise it by your hand instead of your foot?

It's possible. The foot pad is 2 1/2 inches in width so, you could fit a pipe or PVC tube over it. The foot pump works with ease and is very easy to operate and raise my mower. I found this a very well built lift that works very well.

All my fluid leaked out, can i refill it somehow? if so, what do i use?

I’m pretty sure you’ll have to use hydraulic jack oil. It’s strange that the instructions don’t mention that, or how to refill. I would probably start by removing the cylinder and opening it to see what’s needed.

What is the handle for?

Are you talking the long handle that is to put it up and down etc. Also helps to pull it around.
