Sooooo silky!! I've been using this everyday and it goes on smooth and absorbed nicely. The smell is sweet and tropical, I hate scented lotions but this is the first and only one I love. I had a rough patch of bumpy, dry skin and after a few days it was smoothed over and hydrated, a little really does go a long way. The packaging was tossed around a little bit causing a bit of a leak but I was able to scoop up what I could and toss the rest. The tub itself is tough. Not the sellers problem, my area has a careless delivery driver.

I love it but it is expensive

A few months ago I purchased the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream and instantly loved it. I was hesitant to spend the $50 on a jar of lotion but after I started using it, I figured it was worth the price. Until after a few weeks of using it after I was moisturizing after showering, it was at the end! Again, I had to purchase the refill size however, it was still $44. In total, I spent nearly $100 on roughly 6 weeks of lotion. And while it’s great, I just can’t justify the price. I looked for something similar and found Nurtrius Brazilian Body Butter Cream through others looking for a better replacement after they were tired of spending money too! Shipping was extremely quick - I received a 2 pack of the lotion within 24 hours and immediately opened it. The sizes are nearly the same as the SDJ cream, almost the same sturdy container and the scent is nearly identical with just a tiny bit of a lighter scent. What surprised me the most though was after using it, how soft it made my skin. In comparison to the SDJ, I’d say it works even better! I paid $22 in total for 2 jars the same size. The price point is amazing. If you’ve been on the fence about the SDJ lotion because of the price, I recommend giving this a try. Based on the amount and how long it will last, this particular body butter far exceeds most box store sizes. Well worth it!

I love this lotion, it smells like summer. It’s not greasy feeling at all. I just wish the scent lasted longer.

Has a nice subtle scent which is not overpowering but just right. I use this after the shower everyday and it is so moisturizing- not sticky like some moisturizers. Will be purchasing again.

really nice body lotion. a little goes a long way. it smells different and has a lighter consistency than the competition brand. it’s still moisturizing and absorbs easily. worth it.

Huele rico pero te deja la piel, deliciosa!

I’ve been obsessed with the Bum Bum fragrance for a while, but I’m not interested in their pricing. Then I found THIS! While not an exact dupe, the fragrance notes are very similar, and basically half the cost of the big brand. The cream has a dreamy texture, feels super moisturizing and smells frigging AMAZING! It’s like a warm, cozy scent that lasts on my skin all day. Some people feel that the scent is too strong, but I love it. If you’re sensitive to scents this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for something similar to the Bum Bum scent, you should give this a try! I’ve seen reviews calling the scent ‘floral’ but I don’t agree at all. It’s gorgeous!
