I had trouble in my office at the back of the house. The signal was weak and frustraring. After getting this WiFi extender, I no longer have that problem. So much nicer and great value.

Good price, easy setup. Will revisit in a few weeks.

It worked. Setup was super easy. I set it up as a repeater but forgot to verify that it does VOIP before I bought it so that's my fault and why I am returning it. I didn't have it long enough to test it much as far as speed. It was great to eliminate the need for a cat5 cable across the floor.

After plugging the Wi-Fi extender my laptop could not see the wireless SSID described in the included instructions. I had to connect the device to a laptop via the included Ethernet cable and assign it a new IP address within my network. For those not familiar with networking this may be a bit of a challenge. I used Advanced IP Scanner (it's free) to scan my network to see what IP addresses had already been assigned - this way I wouldn't accidently assign the same IP address to the Wi-Fi extender. After poking around the various settings I was able to get the extender on my network.One other note. Though the product description says this device is "Dual Band", the included instructions states it DOES NOT support 5G, only 2.4 G.

I bought this to see if it would improve the performance of a camera I put in our chicken coop which is about 40 yards from our house. The camera worked but sometimes had trouble connecting. I plugged the extender in our greenhouse which is between our house and the coop. So far this seems to have fixed the slow loading problem with the camera! I am happy.
