Buy this mouse unless you want to waste your hard-earned cash!
I switched from Logitech's G502 platform to the Basilisk V3 Pro and I'm so glad I did. The G502 was an amazing mouse, but I wanted something wireless. I tried out the G502 X and it felt fine, but the Basilisk V3 Pro just came down in price since they released their newer version with the 35K sensor and bigger battery life. RGB isn't that important to me, but the Basilisk V3 Pro is now at $99, has RGB, and I've never used more than 6500 dpi on a mouse, so the 35K sensor makes no difference to me. Having wireless is awesome and I like the grips on the Razer better than the Logitech. I ended up getting the mouse dock pro (which is cool but WAY overpriced) and the thing just works. If you turn the RGB down to 33%, it still looks great and you can turn it off altogether. The size is comparable to the G502 X and weight is similar (but the wireless puck makes it pretty heavy on the Razer). I'm not into competitive gaming or online gaming, so weight isn't that important. The mouse is extremely precise and my only complaint comes from both the Basilisk V3 Pro and the G502 and G502 X. I use the "sniper" trigger in FPS or over-the-shoulder games, and I cannot reach it with my thumb because I use a glove to help with my hand posture. It's annoying that I can't get to it easily, but I know quite a few people probably don't use a glove. The clicks are comparable with other mice I've used for gaming, regular computer work, and work. It has a snappy feel and the optical switches work well. I miss the DPI shift which is default on the G502 and G502 X, but I could just set two of the buttons to do that on the Razer. It is fully compatible with my W11 machine and out of my other Razer products (Goliathan extended mat, Kraken V4 Pro, and Mouse Pro dock), it is the most reliable. The mat works fine, but the Kraken V4 Pro has a hard time keeping my settings. Honestly I think that Razer is doing a great job in the market. I still love Logitech for productivity, but with price always being a factor, the Basilisk V3 Pro is in my opinion the best all-around gaming mouse. If you're into competitive or MMO/RPG that require a light mouse or a lot of macros, this is not the mouse for you.

A superb mouse (comparison with Logitech G502 X)
Ok, I've compared this mouse with its closest rival, the Logitech G502 X. If you're trying to decide between the two, this review might be the most helpful to you. *Feel:* Both mice have a very comfortable feel. My hands are on the larger side so I've always preferred an ergonomic mouse instead of the "claw-grip" type mice. Both mice achieve this. The Razer is very comfortable to me. The Logitech mouse was initially uncomfortable, but it has an additional feature, which is that the clutch button can be popped off and reversed or even completely eliminated to make room for your thumb. Simply reversing that button made it very comfortable for me. I'd say these mice tie on comfort. *Glide:* Both mice glide smoothly on the trackpad. Perhaps the Logitech has a slight edge on smoothness, but really they're both good. *Buttons:* Both mice have excellent buttons. Again, if I was to say which I prefer as far as the quality of the click, perhaps it would be the Logitech again, but it's a negligible difference. I prefer the Logitech's clutch button, but both are really good. *Scroll Wheel* On this point, the Razer crushes it in my opinion. The Logitech scroll wheel is extremely heavy when in ratcheting mode. It's just so unsatisfying. Perhaps I got a bad one. But the Razer's ratcheting mode is very smooth and yet you can definitely still feel the clicking feeling. Both mice have a really good smooth-scroll mode, but the Logitech's is a little harder to activate and feels a little clunky in that regard. *Misc Features:* I like the customizability of RGB lighting for both mice. I'm not a huge fan of the snake logo on the Razer so I was able to turn that off. When my computer is locked it still lights up which is a bit annoying, but not a huge deal. The Razer also has a really cool effect when you wake it up. It makes a "click" as if someone is clicking the mouse. At first it freaked me out, but it's actually quite cool. *Battery:* The Logitech wins again on battery life, by quite a bit. Since I use my computer a lot for work, I plug the Razer in every evening. It's not really a big deal because I would probably plug it in every night anyways, and it has more than enough power for a full day. But if battery size is important to you, the Logitech definitely wins on that point. *Summary:* In the end, I returned the Logitech. The scroll wheel was driving me crazy. If it weren't for that it would have been the winner, but I really like this Razer mouse and I'm very happy with it.

Gorgeous mouse!!
I bought the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro because I wanted a solid wireless replacement for my wired Logitech G502 HERO, and I also wanted a mouse that fits nicely into my Razer setup (keyboard + mousepad). The RGB lighting was definitely a bonus. Out of the box, the mouse feels premium and well-built. Setup took just a few minutes and worked on the first try. I already had Razer Synapse installed, so pairing and configuring everything was pretty quick. What I like โข Performance is excellent and extremely responsive โข The buttons feel greatโclicks are satisfying and consistent โข The scroll wheel is awesome in both modes (smooth + tactile) โข Tons of customization in Razer Synapse (RGB, button mappings, profiles, etc.) โข Great fit for larger hands (size/shape is perfect for me) โข The weight feels balancedโnot too heavy, not too light What could be better โข Battery life is decent, but I wish it was better (I average about 3 days of use) โข Synapse customization isnโt very user-friendly at timesโpowerful, but not the smoothest experience โข For the price, I really think Razer should include the charging dock (or at least bundle it more often) Who this is for โข Anyone already invested in the Razer ecosystem โข People who want a feature-packed wireless mouse with great design and performance โข If you like RGB, it looks fantastic โข Fans of the Logitech G502 shapeโthe dimensions/feel are very similar Overall, Iโm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to gamers, especially if youโre already a Razer fan or coming from a G502-style mouse.

Best Ergonomic Gaming Mouse I've Used โ Comfort King!
The Focus Pro 35K sensor tracks flawlessly, clicks are crisp and responsive with the optical switches, and the HyperScroll wheel is super versatile โ I switch between notched mode for precision and free-spin for scrolling through long pages or timelines. Battery life is amazing (easily lasts days), tri-mode connectivity (2.4GHz, Bluetooth, wired) makes it seamless between my PC and other devices, and the customizable buttons + Synapse software let me set up profiles exactly how I want. RGB looks clean too. If you want a comfortable, high-performance wireless mouse that does it all for gaming and productivity, this is it. Easily 5/5 โ highly recommend!

Awesome gaming mouse for my son
Bought this Razer Basilisk V3 Pro for my son and heโs been loving it! The mouse feels super premium and the customizable controls make it perfect for gaming and even homework (he actually uses those extra buttons for shortcuts and macros). The scroll wheel is super smooth and the RGB lighting looks amazing. He loves tweaking the colors. Performance-wise itโs flawless. The tracking is accurate, thereโs zero noticeable lag and it feels great in hand. He says itโs comfortable even after hours of Fortnite or Minecraft sessions. My only gripe and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the battery life. Itโs decent but it doesnโt quite hit the mark promised especially if youโre using the RGB lights. We have to charge it more often than expected so keep that in mind if youโre a heavy gamer or forgetful about plugging things in. Overall, highly recommend this for any serious gamer especially if you want top-notch features and customization. Just be ready to keep that charging cable nearby!

Good replacement for G703!
Having used mainly Logitech mice, most recently the G703 and G403 before that, I decided to get this mouse after getting disappointed by the new Superlight 2 and G502X. I loved the shape and hand feel of the G703 for my palm grip use. Logitech has pretty much abandoned this mouse shape and the new gaming mice are smaller and do not have the higher and longer palm rest of the G703. Using Rting's 3D mouse shape comparison tool, I was able to overlay the G703 against other mice. Only 2 mice were an EXACT dimension fit for the G703 - this Basilisk V3 and V3 Pro and the Glorious i. Having had Razer accessories before, I knew the Basilisk would be a more refined mouse given Razer's reputation. I am very pleased with this mouse. For gaming and work, it is very comfortable and has not given me any issues in my few weeks of ownership. A added plus is it tracks on GLASS - something the Logitech gaming mice does not do. Anyway, very pleased with my purchase. My gripes: The added cost of a receiver to use 4K polling rate is pretty disappointing as this mouse is already expensive. Razer's desktop software is pretty terrible with tons of extra bloatware. I just set up the mouse to the onboard profile and deleted the software afterward. Until Logitech releases a G703 X Superlight (or Razer a lighter version of this Basilisk V3), I'll stick with this mouse.

Horrible Razer Support.
Where to start: My new Razer Basilisk wireless/wired mouse when wireless fails to fully wake up after I take my PC out of locked screen saver mode. While the custom settings work it fails to connect the battery % in Synapse. I have to turn the mouse off then on for the connection to work. So I contacted support and they decided that it was a hardware issue and that I should send it back. I knew they were wrong but did what I was told and sent it back to Amazon and had my brand new one the next day. Of course it had the same problem even after uninstalling and reinstalling Synapse and doing every fix that was possible. But every time I would Receive a support email from Razer It would be from a different support technician who clearly didn't read what had transpired before him. They constantly wanted me to redo the same things over and over again. Finally they decided I should provide them with the log file from my mouse. I downloaded and ran the file for the log files and my security software lit up like this 4th of July is going to light up. I had 40 quarantine files that I had to fix and one file that required me to do a full repair on my Microsoft Office products for my Outlook to work. I complained to Razor that their log file program should have been designed correctly to play nice with security software and didn't even get a response from them. But I kept getting emails from people who hadn't read what happened before and they kept wanting me to rerun log file which I elected not to do. In closing their support actually sucks. It's disjointed, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and it's clearly their problem which seems to be well documented in the literature that the wake up handshake is broken yet they continued to want me to jump through hoops. I refuse to deactivate my security software for their BS. They need to fix Synapse in order to fix this issue because it has nothing to do with me or my system. And they need to fix their bad customer service.

Amazing mouse but not ergonomic
Offers excellent performance for both gaming and productivity. The 30K DPI Focus Pro optical sensor is extremely precise and responsive allowing for smooth tracking whether you are playing fast paced games or doing detailed work. The HyperScroll tilt wheel is very versatile with tactile notches for accurate scrolling and a free spin mode for quickly navigating long documents or game menus. You can also assign custom functions to the tilt wheel which adds a lot of flexibility. This mouse is comfortable for long sessions thanks to its ergonomic right handed design and the programmable buttons let you tailor it to your playstyle. The wireless connectivity is reliable and the battery life lasts through extended use without frequent charging. While the premium features come at a higher price the mouse feels solid and durable and the RGB lighting adds a nice visual touch. Overall the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is a highly customizable and responsive gaming mouse that I would definitely buy again.

Good mostly, some design choices are a step down though.
I miss the one that takes AA batteries, they last MUCH longer. Several days charge versus a month. It's a hassle to keep plugging in, but so long as I plug it in every night it's fine. The old one had a spot to hide a bunch of micro SD cards, this new one has a similar spot despite no door for the battery. I think the switch to rechargeable internal batteries is a downgrade. Still a worthy mouse for people who care about fancy mice. The feel and speed are bang on, you can feel the superior engineering.

Great looking mouse with good performance and options .. but
The mouse looks great and the synapse software allows the user to configure it easily according to the needs . My only comment is that it doesn't come with a charging dock (like the Razer Viper ultimate) which you can use to simply place your mouse on the dock to charge it overnight at the end of your day , instead it comes with a long charging cable which you have to plug into the mouse every time you need to charge it .
