Are these envelopes heat resistant, meaning they could be printed with a laser printer without damage to the plastic window?

These are not heat resistant. I ran 5 through my laser printer and 2 came through successfully but severely warped on the plastic window. The third had the window completely melt and leave part of the plastic in the printer causing a jam. These cannot be used in a laser printer.

Does the window has clear plastic cover?

Yes they do. I love these envelops for mass mailings.

THE WINDOW IS 7/8" IN FROM THE EDGE OF THE ENVELOPE. THE WINDOW IS 1 1/4" IN HIGHT X 4 1/2 WIDE
