these connectors are exactly what I was looking for, there easy to wire up the gauge of wire is correct size/ thickness, most of the reviews are filled with complaints of how the clips break, THEIR LYING I've bent these clips all the way back to where it was touching the end of the connector. so it goes to show that these nilight connectors are well worth it. and are good for marine applications.

I tried to find out if these were rated for 120 VAC connections but couldn't get an answer. But they're great for low-voltage applications like, for example, connecting a battery to my powered garden sprayer. I got the 3-wire version but usually only need 2 of the wires. They're sturdy and waterproof.

I go overboard with lights at Christmas. I needed a new way to separate strings of lights into smaller sections. Since many styles of light strings use 3 wires between the two ends, I decided to try these connectors to hook the sections of lights back together once in place. These are well made, solid connectors and do a great job of keeping the connections dry. They are also easy to push together and easy to separate them again. I simply soldered them in place and sealed the solder connections with marine grade shrink wrap. These are great.
