The font size is good for reading without straining the eyes. Prefect size bible to carry out in handbags. I read some reviews before buying and I am happy with the purchase.

First of all, this is an absolutely beautiful Bible, the soft leather cover and teal color does justice to the premium title. The Bible is big enough for daily use and light enough to carry along to church. This Bible was my birthday gift and I have truly loved reading it every day. I had previously read NIV and GNT translations so I wanted to switch to a simpler translation. What I like about New Living Translation is that it doesn’t paraphrase the verse so much that the basic context is lost. It is closer to NIV and NKJV. Additionally, Proverbs and Old Testament is easier to comprehend in this translation so that’s a plus. The only drawback is that the pages are thin so any markings bleed onto other pages. My solution to that is that I avoid using highlighters and use ball pens to write or underline. The pages are mostly thin in Bibles that are compact and reasonably priced so it is understandable. Overall, it’s a great deal given the price and quality. And if you are thinking of a good gift for a believer, I would 200% recommend gifting a Bible with a personalised prayer note. :)

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this bible as I’m so impressed! As a new Christian, the NLT translation is a great option IMO. Some say that the translations aren’t always exact compared to KJV but for the most part, the sentiment remains in an easy to read format, making the bible accessible to new followers in the modern day. The bible is great quality, the cover is gorgeous and feels nice to hold. But the best part is the filament app that you can use for free alongside it to help you study and really understand the context! I’m 1 month in to my Bible in One Year Plan and I love it, thank you.
