Love it
I absolutely love this product! I already own several Philips Hue devices, and this Tap Dial Switch is a fantastic addition to the setup. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great on the wall, but what I really appreciate is that it’s also portable—so I can carry it around the house and use it wherever I need. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the few control buttons make it easy to use while still offering multiple functions. I love being able to switch between scenes, dim the lights, and adjust the ambiance so easily. It’s simple, versatile, and fits perfectly into my smart home system. If you’re invested in the Hue ecosystem, this is a must-have accessory!

A must have
Just what I needed. I already had the standard Hue switch but this is next level. Controls up to 4 zones (or whatever Hue lights you want to add to each button) plus a dial to dim a light (or group of lights) of your choice. It's pretty, functional and a breeze to install/configure. Well worth its price.

The real Deal 4/5. hard to swallow however
if you are in hue system you know it's the best system around and you will need motion sensors and this switch eventually. the highlight is when you rotate the dial and it slowly brightens the room and and also vice versa. so no more sudden full brightness blinding your eyes. I use this in bedroom on bedside table along with the regular switch near the bedroom door. will try to get another dial switch for the other bedside table. fix it on top of bedside table and not vertically on the drawers. the top fit makes rotating the dial more natural this is similar to the other hue button switches that control hue lights and accessories. it also has the same 4 buttons however it costs nearly thrice as much as a normal hue remote switch. well why is it so. there is a magnetic clicking type of dial which brightens and lowers brightness of the bulbs connected to it. this rotational motion is a retro feel on old fan rotation speed type of switches. it is really good. the lights can go from 0 to 100% bright and rotating the switch is really fun. installation is very easy and comes with 3m double sided tapes . the switch is magnetic so can stick on metal as well. its quiet heavy and will not move around . the looks of it means novice or guests can easily rotate the switch to turn lights on or off and this is very intuitive for old people or non tech savvy. . comes in 2 colours black and white,. thought quiet expensive I can recommend it . got it for £30 . the switch can be further programmed via apple home kit to control any device added to your apple HomeKit page and the least you can do is turn devices on or off. and you can add as much devices to these hue switches in apple HomeKit. I control my Yale lock via such hue switches. it turns the lock to open and switch on all hallway lights and long pressing some programmed button turns off all lights I need off and locks the door as well. this is an example as you don't need the lock option while you are in the house. the Yale Linus l2 lock and auto lock after set time once you open it. I set mine to 2 or 3 min . you get the idea.

Almost perfect
Almost perfect but the magnet doesn’t hold up to heavy handed children - keeps getting knocked off Apart from that, I use iConnectHue to programme the buttons and it works perfectly.

Very nice programmable dial switch
The Hue Tap Dial Switch is an amazing product that allows you to fine-tune your brightness level with ease. The dial operates smoothly and doesn’t feel as clunky as just a button like on the standard Hue dimmer remote. Additionally, the wall mount can be screwed on top of a standard switch blanking plate as the spacing of the screw holes in the wall plate are perfect. All you would need is longer M5 screws. The buttons are programmable in the Hue app, and by default, button 1 is press once to activate time-based light and press and hold to turn off the lights. Using Hue Essentials, you can more finely tune the buttons with fade effects, etc. The Hue Tap Dial Switch is made of plastic but feels like a high-quality item. The appearance is stylish; however, it may not be native to people who are not used to smart homes and Hue accessories, so if you have others in your household, you may need to explain how to use it. Finally the product is so power efficient that it only requires one cr2032 cell for power. (included and pre-installed when purchased) Overall, I love this product. It’s accessories like this that make the Hue system worth it.

A bit expensive but a useful alternative to the Hue app, especially for guests and visitors
I bought this because I have multiple Hue bulbs in my home, and not all guests and visitors are comfortable controlling lights with an app. This switch stops them turning off the main switch in frustration, disabling the automations or leaving me unable to control the lights if I'm not home. With 4 dual-function buttons and a rotary dial it gives one-touch control from my landing - I have set it up as 2 buttons for different living room scenes, 1 for the external porch light and 1 for the kitchen lightstrip. The rotary dial dims the living room. Recommended

Another great product from the Hue range. Can control four hue items and additionally dim them. The switch is really well designed, subtle and fits with any decor.

This lighting control is Fabulous!
Works with all Philips Hue lighting and is easily programmed using the Philips App (And associated Hub) you have 4 buttons you can program as well as an outer circle that can be rotated for dimming. Superbly built with smooth operation, square backing plate, this battery operated switch requires no wiring. Just an excellent and cost effective lighting control solution for any room. Highly recommended.
