Perfect for small cooking
The pot can be separated, it’s convenient. It’s a stainless steel.

Exactly the temperture controlled water bath I needed
The thermostat on this works perfectly. Because line voltage is variable, you have to use a thermometer to get precise temperature settings; I use one of those little food testing thermometers you can get at the supermarket.I use it for keeping hide glue -- the traditional woodworkers granular stuff that you have to dissolve yourself -- at exactly 140 degrees F. I made a holder for the thermometer from brass wire, to hang it off the side of the pot.I've been using this pot regularly for over a year and it works great.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, I liked the pot. Unclear temperature lables but I like that it's aluminum. It's also quick to warm food.

Food safety is questionable
I have cooked in this pot two or three times, but I am not sure I would use it again. Before using, I boiled water in it twice, discarding the water each time, as instructed. Yet, even after the initial cleaning and using it a bit, I can detect a chemical smell in water that is heated in it. I don't really trust that anything heated in it is safe to consume. Cleaning it is difficult because you can't get all of it wet. The manual says to just wipe it with a cloth. I may just return it if I still can.

Good warming pot
This is an excellent warming pot, but a marginal boiling pot. Firstly, I like it and use. I use it to warm soups and sauces and then as a serving dish. Thus I found a temp setting good for my purposes and leave it set. Stainless is better in my view than plastic and it’s relatively wide shape makes it stable and the attached plastic base remains cool. It looks good. The concern would be if used on max setting to rapidly boil water or for steaming where it could run dry at high energy and risk failure. It does have a thermostat that appears to work, but it is not constructed with high safety in mind and does not appear safety certified. For instance, the plastics are inexpensive and are unlikely to prevent a melt down if uncontrolled heating occurs. I like the adjustable temp, but use a fixed temp I like rather than adjusting frequently. The quality of the potentiometer is questionable and it may fail if repeatedly used to adjust temp.I also like the glass and metal coverOverall it’s great for my use. I recommend a dedicated water heater pot for boiling water but wouldn’t put soup in one of those!

Stainless steel hot pot
I bought this to make steam for a sauna. It was cheaper than the steamers made for saunas so I took a chance. It heats water really fast if I want to make a cup of tea.Works great boiling water and making steam for 1/2 hour. The heating mechanism is in the boredom of the pot so you can not get the bottom wet. Might be tricky if you're cooking with it.I love it tho!

At first loved it but the wheel melted off after 5 months
Got it july 2024, it’s December 2024 about to be 6 months. Used it everyday with no problems, but these aren’t built to last I guess. The pot itself still turns on but the wheel melted off and there’s a lot of rust. I’ll just have to go back to a mini induction stove and pot. Still a decent product though

Handy, inexpensive. and so far working well!
Still working fine after two months of daily use. Boils a quart of water in about 2 minutes. The adjustable temperature control is great. Inside dimensions are approximately 6 inches diameter by 5 inches deep. Haven't used the rack or plastic bowl for anything yet. Since the question has been asked, yes it's made in China. See uploaded picture of the box. Overall, an inexpensive and handy little pot. Nice for office use and travel. Why eat out when you can live on tea and ramen... kidding ;)
