This was one of the easiest installs I've had so far with solar. 1) Marked n drilled 6 holes in the roof. Mounted the solar panel with some 1/4" bolts double nutted since bumps are the norm. 2) Attached the charge controller on the rear under the roof panel cables down the back directly no extension needed. 3) Connected the battery cables. Set the voltage on the charge controller. Done! All that took about 10 minutes. Excellent build quality, great product.

Fits perfectly on my golf cart and does exactly what it is supposed to do charges perfectly easy to install have used it a few days now and holds the charge up pretty good while I am driving.. no more charging into electricity I'm in FL... Just keep an extra eye on the water level in the batteries because I would think they would evaporate more quickly because the trickle charging is going on and off like it should... I love it so far ❤️ do an update later

So now that I have had some time with this I can give a good review. This is not a charging system it is a maintainer. I’m not saying it doesn’t work because it does I can definitely drive my cart to and from the golf course 4 times and play 2 rounds. Side note it takes me 15 minutes to get there. Now I have not left it outside to change but the most volts I have gotten is just shy of 3.0 volts. So I do recommend this if you are someone that is just looking to get a little more out of your day but don’t expect to keep it fully charged.

Ok. I received the product and installation was very simple. Once installed it the controller would not light up. I left it plugged because i thought the controller was defective and i was upset. The next morning the control was one and doing its thing. But don’t stop reading!!! I had contacted customer service for the company and let me tell you… they were very very very good at assisting me but the problem was not enough light that evening when installed it at first. I give five stars because that’s all the starts i could give. Very satisfied and it keep my batteries up when we road all over our town

Powers on but does not charge. I purchased this set up a few months ago and just now got the time to install. Usually I have had very good performance from Eco Worthy , but this time I’m disappointed. I did order a different brand solar charge controller and now everything works like it should.

Update on my initial review this kit seems to be well. Constructed works very well. I would recommend it to anybody as far as it material in it functioning properly as for the directions they need help please pay particular attention to hooking up the battery. Please find the two terminals that get the main voltage, the direction show to hook up to positiveof one battery into the negative of the fourth battery that will not work. You have to find the two main wire battery cables going down to your controller and use those to be sure to hook up negative up first and you’ll be good to go I am very pleased with the operation and the construction of this kit

I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent 48V with a 3” lift. I recently installed the AllTrax XCT 500A motor controller & Plum Quick Executioner motor. I’m using my cart for all local travel in North myrtle Beach, SC. These upgrades increased my speed from 18mph to 30mph! I noticed my digital meter shows the same amount of discharge over the same distance, but I’m getting there much faster. Given the increased speed, I’m able to travel more. I decided to try this solar panel to prevent me from getting stranded with dead batteries. Today (4:30pm), I went to a local bar, parked in direct sunlight, & my battery meter showed 70% when I arrived. About 90 min later, I decided to see if it was working. My battery meter showed 91%! I used high strength 2-sided tape & nylon bolts to attach it to my roof, so it would stay attached at 30mph & avoid rust issues. I highly recommend this product! UPDATE 4/25/24: Controller showing erratic display. I contacted Eco-Worthy & they had me send them a pic of multimeter connected to the solar panel leads showing voltage. Max panel open circuit V is 24.5 on the label. At 5pm, I tested 23.67. After I emailed a pic of my multimeter, they’re sending me a FREE replacement! I’m still 100% happy with this solar upgrade!

It was easy to install. Probably could have put two panels on my EZ-GO golf cart. Used double stick foam tape for the panels. Concerned about the power generation as indicated by the controller. It says 37 volts and 1.7 amps in full AZ sunlight. That’s only 62.9 watts. I was expecting something closer to 130 watts since this the power noted on the panel. Thoughts?
