CERAKOTE® Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant, Ceramic Coating for Cars, 14 oz

I'm one of those obsessed car owners that spends an inordinate amount of tie rubbing on his cars. Over the years I have tried dozens and dozens of waxes/polishes/sealants in an attempt to find wax/sealant perfection. Most are okay, none have been amazing until today. This Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint is absolutely AMAZING. Easy on, easy off. Many of my cars have been darker colors. So many of the products that I've tried leave a haze/streaks on the dark paint. Lots of additional rubbing and treatment to remove the streaks. Cerakote leaves nothing but shine. And not just a little bit. Deep and beautiful. I waited to write my review because I wanted to see how it did once I washed the car. The hydrophobic properties are excellent. I almost had trouble getting the suds to stay on the car. Unintentionally got caught in the rain and minimal spotting. Slickness... I keep a cover on one of my cars while it's in the garage. I went to put the cover on last night and couldn't get it to say on the car long enough to drape it over the front and rear bumpers. Looked like a Benny Hill episode. Net/Net This is a remarkable product that I'll be using going forward. I think that you'll be please with it. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. BTW, just so you know. I'm not a Cerakote shill. I've used other Cerakote products in the past that I'm not a fan of. However, this product in particular is a World Class sealant. P.S. I just had to add to my review. Today I had to drive through sixty miles of torrential Florida rain to get to an appointment. I put the car back in the garage when I got home and a few hours later happened to look at the car. It looks like it never left the garage. How does this stuff do that? Absolutely remarkable!!

Application is extremely easy, spray on, wipe off, and buff lightly. It gives the paint a noticeably slick finish and strong water beading almost immediately. The gloss is impressive for a spray product, especially considering how little effort it takes compared to a full ceramic coating process. CERAKOTE also markets it with a 50-wash durability claim and strong hydrophobic protection. What stands out most is how smooth the paint feels afterward. Dirt and water don’t stick nearly as much, and it definitely makes maintenance washes easier over time. It also doesn’t leave heavy streaking if applied correctly, which is a big plus on darker paint colors. The downside is that this is still a spray sealant, not a professional ceramic coating, so longevity won’t match high-end professional installs. Some users also mention the spray nozzle and durability could be better for the price. Pros: excellent gloss and slickness, very easy application, strong water beading, makes washing easier, good value for quick ceramic protection Cons: not a true long-term professional ceramic coating, spray bottle could be better, durability varies by expectations Overall: one of the better spray ceramic sealants I’ve used. It’s quick, easy, and gives impressive shine and hydrophobic performance without the hassle of a full ceramic coating process.

This product is easy to apply, and very easy to buff to an incredible shine! I have been polishing my own car for over 50 years and this is the best car polish I have every used. It stands up to Minnesota winters (cold, snow and salt). My 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E shines better now than the day I bought it!

Short term review. Long term to follow. The good: Great shine, and by shine I mean raising the color depth bar a couple of notches compared to other products I have used. I had my wife's car "detailed" and the young man who performed a clay bar cleaning prior to finishing with a coat of "ceramic" containing wax. Meh on the results. A couple days later I applied this product and was actually impressed. Very easy to apply and wipe off. No streaking or "rainbow" patterns. Wiped off VERY easily. Stunning (yes I said stunning) color and shine 2-3 hours later and the next day compared to whatever he used on the SUV. As mentioned in the application instructions, give it time to fully "dry" for additional visual benefits. I then used this product on my 11 year old SUV which was first cut and polished mechanically to remove fine and deep scratches in the clearcoat. Already looking good, the same result that was seen as with my wife's SUV. Deep gloss that improves more after 2-12 hours. Glass like - stunning. Reading the available info, you can recoat after a day for additional shine. That could be interesting. Given the bottle goes a very long way (2 mid size SUV's) and plenty still left. I'll try this after the next wash given how easy it is to apply. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. The included microfiber towels are a great benefit. Good quality. Good value for the price. The BAD: the pump started to fail by the end of the first SUV completed. This STINKS as when working it produces a really nice mist. Not to much, not to little. Listen up manufacturers - FIX THIS, because otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I considered giving it 3 stars, but can't deny how easy it is to use and visual results. The other BAD: you will have to check back on longevity of the results. Sorry. Note: I'm a bargain hunter, so if this lasts as long as more expensive competitors, I'll call it a win win. The GREAT: Application and wipe off are amazingly easy. Use one towel for wiping on and spreading after misting, then use the "dry" towel for wiping off. No elbow grease required. Easily a quick detailing option for a clean car, I’ll be throwing out my OLD bottle of Maguire's quick detailer, though I use their products which appear superior for the interior. Based on research I may also give Crystal Serum by GTECHNIQ a try if I want to spend $$$ for longevity, if this doesn't hold up as advertised.

Excellent product goes on with ease gives a brilliant shine and lasts for a long time

Easy to apply and leaves a really nice shine. I wouldn't say this last very long at all. Maybe 3 weeks before you need to reapply. Its not really that big a deal, as again, its really easy to apply. The problem like many other reviewers said, the sprayer on the bottle failed early on. At firsty it was a strong mist, after a few uses, it just spits out a little bit of product. It is so annoying. Come on Cerakote, fix this!!

Been detailing cars as a hobby for 40 years. I've tried it all, including some of the other Ceramic sealants. This is a game changer. Its by far the easiest thing I've ever applied and it just last and lasts. I barley have to wash my vehicles anymore. This is one of the most surprising products I've ever purchased.

I have used a few of these products from different brands, most seemed OK, but after watching a few YouTube videos showing the results and positive comments I thought why not. Price wise it is on par with others, it is easy to apply, and does add a shine to your car paint, it also repels water really well. I read a few comments that it will dry with no marks, and that's not true, well not on my car, I applied it and let it dry for at least a few days, then sprayed my car with water, parked it in the shade and waited a few hours, droplets were nearly dry, but left water marks, no big deal as I just wiped the car down. Also a few comments stated any dust would come off when driven, again not on my car, sure being a dark color shows everything dirt wise, but I ran the hose over it, then dried the car, and came up spotless. I applied it not just on the paint, I used it on all the glass and wheels and seemed to give the same results if as applying it to the paint of the car. I have used this brand before and their products are really good, so I recommend it. Yet to apply a second coat to see if it adds to the shine. But overall worth the money and I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Mein Ziel war ein Langzeitschutz, der die wöchentliche Wagenwäsche vereinfacht. Das Kit mit den Tüchern wirkte sofort solide. Die Anwendung ist erstaunlich unkompliziert. Nach gründlicher Wäsche und Trocknung habe ich das Spray auf ein Mikrofasertuch gesprüht und in kreuzförmigen Bewegungen aufgetragen. Die Verarbeitungszeit ist großzügig. Das Ergebnis war direkt spürbar: Der Lack fühlte sich sehr glatt an (Slickness ist gut), die Farbtiefe meines schwarzen Lacks ist verbessert und intensiver geworden. Der Abperleffekt ist selbst nach einigen Wochen und Wäschen noch präsent, was die Reinigungszeit merklich reduziert hat. Vorteile: * Guter Tiefenglanz und verbesserte Farbtiefe, besonders auf dunklen Lacken. * Deutlich spürbare Glätte des Lacks nach der Versiegelung. * Die Anwendung ist einfach und schnell, auch für normale Anwender. * Wirksame Konservierung mit gutem, lang anhaltendem Wasser- und Schmutzabweisungsverhalten. Nachteile: * Die Langzeithaltbarkeit scheint nicht ganz die versprochenen 50 Wäschen zu erreichen; der volle Beading-Effekt hält eher drei bis vier Monate. * Der Sprühnebel kann bei leichtem Wind schnell unkontrolliert werden; ein besserer Sprühkopf wäre wünschenswert. Fazit: Wer eine Keramik-Lackversiegelung sucht, die eine sehr einfache und schnelle Anwendung bietet und sofort ein sicht- und fühlbares Ergebnis liefert, ist hier richtig. Das Produkt liefert einen guten Tiefenglanz und eine ordentliche Wasserabweisung, was die Pflege erleichtert. Es ist eine Empfehlung für jeden, der wenig Zeit investieren, aber ein gutes Ergebnis erzielen möchte.

Efficace dans la durée

Ik heb het product nog niet gebruikt, maar ik heb er hoge verwachtingen van. Het product werd mij echter verkocht als 500 ml / 14 oz, maar toen ik het uitpakte, bleek het slechts 295 ml / 10 oz te zijn. Dat is een teleurstelling.
