Guitar epoxy ...that is removable.
This epoxy is for wood - it doesn't cure rock solid like common epoxies, but it is still produces a strong bond. I used this 20 years ago on a guitar build that I decided to remove the paint and refinish natural now that my skills had improved. In 1997, I think I took too long in joining the one side, so there was a weak bond between the maple neck and the mahogany that I lived with - it wasn't terrible, but it cracked the paint along the joint since the different woods could "breathe" somewhat independently. I inadvertently worsened this bond by applying too much heat at that joint while removing the old finish and wood filler. Yes, I was unaware you can soften this epoxy with enough heat - I do not consider this a con and am glad I was forced to fix it correctly. So I ended up separating the sections midway through the rebuild, used heat to very easily scrape up the old epoxy, and bought a new kit to repair it. This stuff is great and my guitar is now Stronger Than [Ever]. If you tape an area off and there is excess, just wipe most of it up - then you will still be able to easily remove the tape the next day. I'll admit that I got quite lucky with re-alignment (lots of dry runs in the jig I made) and the result was perfect. For this repair, I didn't even use a quarter of each bottle. The kit arrived in two days. Price here includes the shipping if ordered directly off the StewMac site.

Great!
Used this to fill in hole on a kitchen table I made. Once mixed had plenty of time to work it into the holes/cracks. Easily sanded smooth and looks great!
