Works great! A little lighter weight than my old one I've had for decades, but at this price if I get a few years of use, it's more than worth it. So far it's been very effective on some knives that really needed some touching up!

This knife sharpener is hefty and feels like good quality for the price. Have had people commenting on how sharp our knives are after using this. A little bit of getting used to but I do like it and would buy again

Whoa! Hold up cowpoke! If you're looking for a quality tool, this is! IO needed to replace my Rod of over 20 years with at least equal quality, and this is better than it was. My regret is that I bought too big a Rod. As I am nearing my 9th decade on this globe, this is a bit heavy for me to handle. I should have returned it for the next size down but in all my Alpha persona, just couldn't do it.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, rubbish cheap plastic handle, honing surface has nicks through it, and it wasn't 30cm of honing surface. the whole rod was 30cm not the honing surface
