I LOVE Being Able To Just Unplug The Cable, And It DOESN'T BUZZ! IT'S GREAT!
This "LEKATO Instrument Cable with Dual Mute Plug Ends" works quite well! I REALLY LOVE being able to just unplug the cable, and NOT HAVING IT BUZZ! And, I don't know WHY I waited so long, (50 years!), to get a cable with this Auto-MUTE SWITCH Feature! It's quite a flexible cable, and, it has the all-important Gold-Plated Connectors, too, so I won't get any corrosion! It goes perfectly with the gold Pure Tone output jacks, that I like to add to all of my guitars. (THAT WAY, it's gold-to-gold, and I avoid any 'dissimilar metals effect"...) I also like having the right-angled connector on one end, too. It works nicely going into my little Fender Mustang I V.2 Modeling Amp, which I have placed on a chest-high shelf. The 90 degree-end takes all of the strain off of the cable, in that setup. And then, of course, the other, straight-end goes nicely into my Strats, my Teles, my Mustang, my Toronado, my Les Faul... or whatever... BTW, BOTH ENDS of the cable offer the auto-Mute Switch functionality. So, in short, I think it's a pretty good option for an Auto-Mute Switch Instrument Cable, especially for the price. I like it! Have fun. -C (NOTE: I did NOT receive this product through any Promotion, I bought and paid for it myself.)

Nice cable!
So far I'm liking this cable a lot. It feels well made and sounds every bit as good and clean as my more expensive cables. The coolest thing is having the mute on both ends. When I'm recording I'm always switching instruments and some have the jack on top and some on the side, so I end up reversing the cable. I don't know why they don't make all the muting cables this way. I'm getting zero interference, buzzing, crackling, etc..., and it's absolutely silent unplugging it from the instruments. I only use my gear for home recording so it doesn't get abused, but nonetheless this chord feels sturdy. We'll see how it holds up!

Noisy Mute Plug Guitar Cable
I had high hopes for this mute-able guitar cord, but just didn't work very well and was noisy unless I jiggled it around when plugged in my Gretsch electric. Also, the mute switch just didn't work when I pulled the cable out - I got pops and hum. My guess is that the size of the plug may be a little out of tolerance and it doesn't fit as tight as it should in my guitar to enable the mute switch to engage? The KMISE mute-able cable works excellent, but it's no longer available. :(

Not sure of the quality!
The idea here is wonderful but the cable doesnโt seem like a quality product. I wasnโt comfortable trusting this cable.

It works nicely.
Just received this. It seems towork just fine. I guess time will determine it's durability, but for the price I can't complain. I have tried other cords that use some kind of manual switch, but one literally is a no- brainer as you don't need to check to see what position the switch is in. Cool. The construction does seem a bit lightweight,so i might have to eventually get a backup.

works great
I'm a retired professional guitarist. I've use an old (20 years) guitar cable that actually had a little slider switch to turn it off/on when plugging and unplugging. I finally wore out the original cable. This one worked great and solved some popping problems for me at an important gig. I recommend it highly.

Plugging-unplugging without the "pop"!
First, I have had a good experience with the Lekato brand. I have purchased Lekato 5.8ghz wireless guitar system, a Lekato guitar strap... and now the Lekato guitar cable. They advertise it as having a "mute plug"which is kind of non-descript. I presumed it had the same function as a Neutrik plug with a collar on the shaft of the plug which only engage the sound/signal after it is plugged in. The Lekato plug doesn't look quite the same, but looks different than the standard guitar cable. Upon plugging it in for the first time I did get a little pop, but I think it just needed that one time to free up whatever mutes the cable. After that I can plug and unplug without any pop from the speaker. It's great if you want to change guitars without muting the amp. The cable itself is robust. I haven't gigged with it yet, but some cables aren't shielded enough in my situation, so while almost all cables work, the shielding is crucial. I anticipate the shielding to be great. But if it's not I'll come back and edit my review. I didn't really need a 20' cable, but I think it will come in handy at times where there is a distance between my Fishman EQ/DI box and the amp (with Lekato wireless system or other on the input side of the EQ/EI). It's ra

Itโs a very good product
It works good. It also switches at bot ends. For those who donโt have a standby switch on their amplifier this actually is great. No noise and the amp is ready when you plug in your guitar
