great fit
These line fitting work great with a lot of gm transmission cooler lines to add and external cooler, except that the description does not apply to my vehicle. i used it on a oldsmobile 88 and it was the correct size for this vehicle, the other line fittings that are on amazon state they fit my car but when i got them they were the wrong size and did not fit at all. you have to do a bit of online search to make sure they do fit your vehicle before you go ahead and buy the wrong line fitting

Doesn't fit 88-94 Chevy trucks
Says it's for 90s GM trucks. Even on Haydens website and the instructions that came with my cooler say to buy this kit for 1991 and later GM vehicles. Didn't fit my OBS GMC truck.

Great product, but you don't need both in most applications.
A perfect fit when I added a trans cooler to my 02 Silverado...the only downfall is that they sell you two when you only need the male fitting.

IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CHEVROLET C1500 1993, THE FITTINGS ARE BIG. THE COMPATIBILITY LIST IS WRONG, SAVE YOUR SELF A HEADACHE IF YOU WANT IT FOR THIS APPLICATION. DO NOT BUY IT, I HAD TO RETURN IT AND I DIDN'T FINISH MY COOLER INSTALLATION BECAUSE OF THESE FITTINGS. NOW I HAVE TO FIND THEM AT HOMEDEPOT OR ANY OTHER HARWARE SHOP.AMAZON SHOULD REMOVE THE COMPATIBILITY FOR THE C1500 1993

Quality just okay but doesn’t fit 1989 k1500. GM didn’t use 5/8 fitting till 1990 get Hayden 393

Perfect for 2002 silverado
Used these to install a tranny cooler on my 2002 Silverado 2wd with a 4.8L V8 NON tow package. This made the installation very simple. The tranny line on the passenger side of the radiator at the top is the one you want to use. Remove the retaining clip and pull that line out, grab a wrench and twist off the bolt/connector that is still in the radiator. Screw in part one, then put the part with the retaining clip and the piece you removed from the radiator and put them all together on the line itself. Now you should have 2 barbed inlets to match up to your cooler.

No leaks
Needed these to install a Hayden 679 in an '04 Chevy Silverado. To me, it felt like the fittings bottomed out before the threads got really tight, but no leaks at all! The hose barbs are a VERY tight fit in the 11/32 hose supplied with the Hayden cooler.
