Installation of the Mopeka device was pretty straight forward. Its accuracy is fairly good but at least for my setup it was 100%. I am sure there are few factors that the device does not give me 100% reading when the LP tank is full, even though it is placed almost to the center of the bottom of the tank.I am pretty happy with it since now I can take an average reading and know the gas capacity left in the tank.Great product.I am also using one for our fresh water tank on our pop-up camper.

Ordered these to synch with the Lippert 1 touch app. They worked flawlessly and were very easy to mount and connect to our system.

Product arrived with missing parts and broken tube with primer

We installed these on the propane tanks in our RV. Every other method of gauging how much propane was left in the tanks was useless. These are easy to install and so far have been very accurate. I like that with the app, I can see how much propane is left without even having to look at the tank. They're not cheap but it beats running out of gas come dinner time.

This is a provisional three-star review due to lack of clear guidance on product suitability. This sensor may work fine for most propane tanks, but it does not seem to work on mine. It is not a typical tank (15 gal/63 lb vertical stainless steel), and I suspect the problem is that an internal float gauge mechanism may be interfering with the sensor getting a good reading. After some initial trouble getting product support (Mopeka doesn't provide tech support by phone), I was able to exchange messages with one of the developers. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to identify the problem, but the company gave me a full refund.

I Think not is The money worth. Not speciel good product and if i could i have sent it back and get my money back

I've been using Mopeka's standard sensors for years, and have been very happy with them. It's great to finally get an accurate reading of propane level! When I switched to aluminum tanks a couple of years ago, I could have bought a new set of these expensive special sensors... but I did something simpler: I epoxied a piece of galvanized steel flashing to the bottom of each aluminum tank. (A tin can lid would have worked just as well.) The old magnetic sensors stick and work just fine, and I saved the $130 I would have paid for a pair of these.

Habe mir das Teil für mein Alugasflasche im Wohnmobil gekauft und es funktioniert wirklich sehr gut. Natürlich hat man keine 100% genaue Anzeige, aber der angezeigte Wert passt schon sehr gut 👍 . Habe mir jetzt noch eins für meine Stahlflasche bestellt 👍
