This is not a Dell product
The battery is a replacement for my Dell 5555 laptop. So far it is doing a good job, but it took way too long to receive it. Amazon said it was in stock, but obviously it was not. It came from China. It is not a simple plug in. You have to have your PC recognize that it is NOT an identical replacement. You have to configure this battery to Dell specs before you can use it. It's not complicated just follow the enclosed directions.

BEWARE!!! Short battery life / stopped charging!!
I purchased this battery in January. It worked fine for 2 months and now it won't charge. It is now impacting the system performance of my Dell and I keep getting warning messages now. BEWARE!!!
