LOVE these cards. A little challenging to shuffle, but worth it!
I bought these cards for my daughter who is almost three. We LOVE them! The cards are all done by color, so she doesn't get so overwhelmed by trying to look at both numbers and suits AND colors, like on traditional cards. The colors are complicated (indigo, lavendar, buttercup, etc.), but she can just hold a card up and say "Do you have this blue one?" and it works. The fish shape is fun and easier for her to hold, though a little more challenging to shuffle and get all the cards lined up the right way. The quality is really nice - she won't be mangling them any time soon and the box is very sturdy too. It has an inner insert that slides in and out instead of a traditional flap lid like regular playing cards. I also bought the Crazy 8 cards - she liked that game a lot, but it was more overwhelming and I didn' think it was as good for her age. I will be buying these for my nieces too! Great gift for ages 2-4, maybe even older. Only down side is about the only thing they are good for is Go Fish, but that's hardly an issue when that's why I bought them. Worth the money!

Fun, easy to learn, good quality
Fun and easy to play! My 3 year old picked it up quickly. The colors make it easy for her to follow along. Great way to practice taking turns and learning new colors. Size is great for little hands.

Very cute and different go fish
The cards are shaped as fish, which are very cute and I do like the cards because instead of numbers like most cards would have. These cards have colors, so kids learn their colors. Some of the colors are fuchsia, eggplant unfortunately, I don’t remember the rest of the colors and the game is at my granddaughters house. She’s almost 5 and she enjoys playing and she likes to colors

Good
Love the traditional look of these. Very similar to the ones I grew up with. The colors however are confusing for younger kids. I wish there was a choice for simple colors.

Get the game!
One of the best Go-Fish games out there! The colors are super fun and it is the best when your kids try to say the names. Great for any age really. The cards are the perfect size and it is easy to read the colors.

Fun take on go-fish with cool colors
This is a fun take on the classic go-fish but with cool colors such as cafe au lait, indigo, chartreuse, etc. We played this from as young a three years to as old as six years. We loved this version so much that we also gave it as a gift to other friends with young children. The card stock is thick, making the cards fairly durable. And they are cut out in the shape of a fish, so that makes it even more enjoyable.

Good quality but hard color names!
I didn’t realize the color names on these cards would not be the primary colors. I guess the hot pink card on display should have been a hint. The color names are too difficult for a five year old learning to play fish. We are having to substitute names such as dark blue or light purple in order to play. But the quality is amazing and well worth the price. Oh and the box the cards are stored in is very colorful and sturdy! It should last forever!

Perfect!
Bought this set as we thought trying to teach my niece the game with colors might be easier than numbers. (She was turning two when she received it and could identify most colors by their basic name.) She has loved it and enjoys challenging her grandparents to a game of cards. We used basic color names such as dark blue and light blue at first but about a year in she asked what the word was on the card and has loved using the color names on the cards. Her attitude and joy at calling it tangerine instead is hilarious. Highly recommend. Purchased the triangle plastic card holders at the same time and they have been a huge help. Set also makes a cute template to trace around when she wants to color some fish.

Not at all as pictured
Different version of the game, which I wouldn’t have purchased had it been displayed in photos.
