Charge? No You press them to change the light pattern and to turn the light off... if you're not using just press down on it a few times until the light turns off

How many in the pack are for 4-8 yrs and how many are for 8-12 yrs - assuming the wrist band sizes differ? Thanks!

Mine were all the same size/length. There are notches to adjust for wrist sizes. I think they put those age ranges just for advertising purposes but there is no differentiation between which ones are for what age.
