I bought the 256 GB version, and it really is the built in 128GB eMMC + a 128GB NVME (as a D drive).The sad part is the eMMC holds the OS and is significally slower than the NVME.Now I am trying to move the OS to the NVME drive and leave the eMMC as storage

I’m a fan of Asus but was disappointed that the extra memory I paid for on this one is not in the c: drive but is d: If I wanted that I would have bought an inexpensive SD card.

it's not only good for school but a small work computer also!!!! It can do a lot of things that my other one's could not do, with no problems at all. Also it is a breeze to factory reset, I know, I HAD TO BUT IF i CAN DO IT ANYBODY CAN DO IT!!! WITH THE SUPPORT I RECEVED, THEY HELPED ME A LOT...

I was very upset it didn't have a memory card reader as I got it for travel and often don't have cloud access. It also cannot read my old memory card in a USB reader. However I have reconciled to it and am liking it better. It seems sturdy.

This seems to be a very good laptop that starts up quickly and runs smoothly. However my intention with buying this was to use it to run and online virtual computer through some software called Shadow by blade. The requirements to run said software on a computer matched up with this computer and I thought I would work fine but I could not get it to work after several hours of trying to do so. I do not know if it is the computer or the software that is the problem but that was my whole intention behind buying this computer.

Right out of the box, the laptop booted up without issues. Setting it up worked fine up until it came time to connect to the Internet. No wireless wifi connections were available, and the only option was to use an ethernet cable to connect to the Internet. Restarting the computer did not fix the issue.Upon further inspection, the wireless network adapter driver was simply not there. In order to update it, I needed the Internet. Which I could not connect to without an ethernet cable. Fortunately I had one available, but if I didn't, that would have been another piece of equipment I would have needed to buy just to set up the laptop properly.As of writing this, the computer is downloading software updates, so I'm not even sure this will fix the issue. Hopefully it'll be a simple matter of updating the laptop, but the need for an extra piece of equipment just to solve this problem is a pretty big oversight.EDIT: Even after downloading all the software updates for Windows 10, the computer wasn't able to connect to wifi wirelessly. I had to download Windows 11 (which was free, fortunately) for the issue to be resolved. Now the laptop is fully functional.That's not to say this thing is totally perfect. It's pretty slow, takes a solid five seconds after pressing the power button to turn on. Also when using the Internet, it tends to reload tabs if they haven't been active for more than fifteen minutes, and that usually takes a couple of seconds and loses where I scrolled to. Minor annoyances, but manageable. I only use this computer for work anyway, and it does what it needs to.Would've been four stars but the initial problems with setting up the laptop brings it down to a three.

So far, I am satisfied with the purchase. The storage on the machine was a little odd, but I figured it out. The battery in this has pretty good longevity.

For not much more than it would cost to get a Windows license alone you can get a rugged PC for smaller kids. This is NOT for gaming, it’s for browsing, learning to type, dropping on the floor without worrying about it breaking. Do not expect miracles from this machine.

One of the best lap-tops on the market!!! You get what you pay for, especially Intel - don't leave home without it (Intel) !!
